CLEARING REQUIREMENTS Clause Examples

The Clearing Requirements clause sets out the obligations for parties to process certain financial transactions through a central clearinghouse. Typically, this clause specifies which types of trades must be cleared, outlines the procedures for submitting transactions, and may reference applicable regulatory standards or exemptions. Its core function is to reduce counterparty risk and increase transparency by ensuring that trades are settled through a regulated intermediary, thereby promoting market stability and compliance with legal mandates.
