Changing PCPs Sample Clauses
The 'Changing PCPs' clause outlines the process by which a patient may switch their designated Primary Care Provider (PCP) within a healthcare plan or network. Typically, this clause specifies the conditions under which a change can be made, such as requiring advance notice, limiting the frequency of changes, or mandating the selection of a new PCP from an approved list. Its core practical function is to provide flexibility for patients to seek care from a provider better suited to their needs while maintaining administrative order and continuity of care within the healthcare system.
