Common use of Change of Residence Clause in Contracts

Change of Residence. During the term of this Agreement, continuing employees who are changing their place of residence shall be allowed leave, with pay, not exceeding one (1) day for the purpose of moving their household effects. Continuing part-time employees shall be entitled to take a whole day off; but they shall be paid on a pro rata basis according to the number of hours which would normally have been worked by the employee in the bi-weekly period within which the change of residence takes place.
