Common use of Casual Scheduling Clause in Contracts

Casual Scheduling. For other than annual scheduling, or scheduling of leave on holidays, members may on a first-come basis request occasional use of vacation leave. Requests of eight (8) hours or less usage will be acted upon by the shift supervisor, where practicable, during the tour of duty in which the request is made. If no conflict in scheduling occurs, the member's request shall be honored.
