Common use of Callback Clause in Contracts

Callback. An employee who is called back to work after the employee’s normal shift has been completed and the employee has left the premises, shall receive callback pay of a minimum of three (3) hours at the overtime rate of pay. However, an employee who is required to report to work prior to the employee’s normal shift and continues on into the employee’s regular shift, shall be compensated for such pre-shift hours at one and one-half (1-1/2) the employee's regular straight-time hourly rate of pay.

Callback. An employee who is Maintenance employees called back to work after having completed the employee’s normal scheduled shift has been completed and the employee has having left the premises, premises shall receive callback pay of a minimum of three (3) hours at the overtime rate of pay. However, an employee who is required to report to work prior to the employee’s normal shift and continues on into the employee’s regular shift, shall be compensated for such pre-shift hours at one and one-half (1-1/2) times the employee's regular straight-time hourly rate of paypay commencing from the time the employee initiates their return to work and ends once the employee returns home. Callback shall not apply in cases of scheduled overtime. 8.1.1 The employee shall take the most direct route to work and home while on callback.

Callback. However, an employee who is required to report to work prior to the employee’s normal shift and continues on into the employee’s regular shift, shall be compensated for such pre-shift hours pay at one and one-half (1-1/2) the employee's regular straightemployees normal pay rate. Call-time hourly rate backs within the same three (3) hour period shall be considered one call-back. The form of paycompensation for call-back shall be at the Department Head’s discretion.

However, an employee who is required to report to work prior to the employee’s normal shift and continues on into the employee’s regular shift, shall be compensated for such pre-shift hours at one and one-half (1-1/2) times the employee's regular straight-time hourly rate of pay; provided however, if the employee's regular shift starts less than three (3) hours from the time the employee started work on the callback, the employee shall receive one and one- half (1-1/2) times the employee's regular straight-time hourly rate of pay for only such time as occurs before the commencement of the employee's regular shift.

However; provided however, an employee who is required to report to work prior to the employee’s his normal shift and continues on into the employee’s is compensated for all time prior to commencement of his regular shift, shall be compensated for such pre-shift hours at one and one-half (1-1/21 -1/2) times the employee's regular straight-time hourly rate of pay.
