Burden of Proof and Notice Requirement. ‌ In all cases of discipline, the burden of proof of just cause shall rest with the Employer. Notice of discipline shall be in writing and shall set forth the reasons. A copy of the written notice involving a suspension or dismissal shall be forwarded to the staff representative of the Union within five working days of the action being taken.
