Association Representation. 6.01 The Employer agrees to recognize two (2) nurse representatives, however not more than one per shift. Minutes of these meetings shall be maintained and signed by both parties. The role of chairperson shall rotate between the parties. Additional representatives of the Employer and/or Association may attend the meeting if so requested by both parties. With the understanding that: i) Meetings will occur during the day shift and all attempts will be made to complete the meetings prior to the end of the shift. ii) Nursing Directors will work with the RNs to help them cover their workloads during meeting times. iii) Meetings may need to be longer than one hour. The Committee will determine the required length. 6.05 When an employee is engaged in the handling of grievances in accordance with Article 8, and when an employee attends regular scheduled management meetings with management such employee will be compensated for the time so taken during regular working hours at her regular rate of pay. The Employer agrees to pay employee members of the negotiating committee as outlined in Article 6.03 for time spent during regular working hours in negotiations with the Employer for a renewal agreement up to, but not including conciliation. 6.06 Wherever possible the processing of grievances and other activities on behalf of the Association shall be performed outside regular working hours. Where it is necessary to investigate or process grievances or to negotiate with the Employer during working hours, the nurse representatives or committee members shall not leave their work to perform these functions without the prior consent of their respective supervisors. It is understood that nurse representatives and committee members will not absent themselves from regular duties unreasonably. 6.07 The representative of the Ontario Nurses' Association will obtain prior consent of the Chief Executive Officer or designate before entering the Home. Such consent These interviews shall not be arbitrarily withheldscheduled in advance as determined by the Director of Nursing/or designate. 6.06 Every effort will be made to schedule committee meetings as referenced in article 6 when committee members are working. In the event that a committee meeting is scheduled on a day off for the committee member, the member will be paid straight time for all hours in attendance at the committee meeting.

Association Representation. 6.01 For the purpose of representation with the Employer, the Association shall function and be recognized as follows: a. The Association may appoint or elect up to one (1) ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ and one (1) alternate per fire station. Stewards are representatives of the volunteer firefighters in certain matters pertaining to this Agreement, including the processing of grievances. Only those volunteer firefighters who have obtained permanent status shall be eligible to be a ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇. b. The Association may appoint or elect up to one (1) volunteer per fire station to serve as bargaining committee members. All members of the bargaining committee shall be active volunteer firefighters who have obtained permanent status. c. The Employer agrees to recognize two pay for time spent on Association business as follows: i. Payment for one (21) nurse representatives, however not more than one per shift. The Association shall notify the Employer in writing of the names of representatives and any changes thereto▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ for time spent attending a grievance meeting. 6.02 The Employer will recognize ii. CLAC Representatives are representatives of the volunteer firefighters in all matters pertaining to this Agreement, particularly for the purpose of processing grievances, negotiating amendments to and renewals of this Agreement and advocating for the Association's representativevolunteer firefighters’ collective bargaining rights as well as any other rights under this Agreement and under the law. CLAC Representatives must first obtain permission to attend to the Employer’s premises from the Fire Chief or his designate and such permission shall not be unreasonably withheld. e. The Association shall notify Region recognizes the Employer in writing of the names of following representatives and any changes thereto. 6.02 The Employer will recognize a Grievance Committee consisting of two (2) representatives. A committee member may investigate and process grievances in accordance with the grievance procedure set out in this Agreement. 6.03 The Employer agrees to recognize a Negotiating Committee of up to two (2) nurses and the Association's representative. The Association agrees to notify the Employer in writing of the names of the members of the Negotiating Committee Association’s duly chartered Local namely Halton Health Programs Bargaining Unit, Ontario Nurses’ Association, all of whom are nurses of the Region and any changes thereto. Any regular part-time and/or casual part-time nurse who have completed their probationary term of employment: (i) A negotiating committee of four (4) nurses who shall be credited with service and seniority for all time spent during negotiationsact on behalf of the Association in the negotiating of this agreement. 6.04 The Employer agrees that there shall be a Home Association Committee composed (ii) A Grievance committee of an equal number of appointed representatives of the Employer and Association. It is understood and agreed that neither party shall have more than three (3) representatives on nurses who shall assist any nurse in the committeepresentation of a grievance. (iii) Nine (9) nurse representatives. (b) The parties agree to form an Association-Management Committee consisting of seven (7) members appointed by the Region and seven (7) members appointed by the Local Association to discuss matters of mutual interest. Meetings of this committee shall between the Association and Region Representatives may be held at mutually convenient times. A representative or consultant of both the request of Ontario Nurses’ Association and the Region may attend such meeting if requested to be present by either party, but . 6:02 The Association shall have the right at least quarterly. Additional representatives of the Employer and/or Association may attend the meeting if so requested by both parties. With the understanding that: i) Meetings will occur during the day shift and all attempts will be made to complete the meetings prior to the end of the shiftOntario Nurses’ Association. ii) Nursing Directors 6:03 The Association will work provide the Region with the RNs names of its officers, committee members and nurse representatives and shall keep such list up to help them cover their workloads during meeting date at all times. iii) Meetings may need to be longer than one hour. The 6:04 Committee will determine members or nurse representatives shall not leave their regular duties for the required lengthpurposes of conducting business on behalf of the Association or in connection with this Agreement without first obtaining the permission of their immediate manager or his/her designate, nor shall the Association or any nurse engage in Association activities during working hours or hold meetings at any time on the premises of the Regional Corporation without permission in writing from the designated Director for use of such premises. 6.05 When an employee is engaged in the handling of grievances in accordance with Article 8, and when an employee attends regular scheduled management meetings with management such employee will be compensated for the time so taken during regular working hours at her regular rate of pay.
