Application of Monterey County Code Chapter 2. 80. The provisions of Monterey County Code Chapter 2.80 apply to activities conducted pursuant to this Agreement. CONTRACTOR and its officers and employees, in their actions under this Agreement, are agents of the COUNTY within the meaning of Chapter 2.80 and are responsible for ensuring that their workplace and the services that they provide are free from discrimination, as required by Chapter 2.80. Complaints of discrimination made by recipients of services against CONTRACTOR may be pursued by using the procedures established by or pursuant to Chapter 2.80. CONTRACTOR shall establish and follow its own written procedures for prompt and fair investigation and resolution of discrimination complaints made against CONTRACTOR by its own employees and agents or recipients of services pursuant to this Agreement, and CONTRACTOR shall provide a copy of such procedures to COUNTY on demand by COUNTY.

  • Chapter 2 202 of the County Code The Contractor is hereby notified that, in accordance with Chapter 2.202 of the County Code, if the County acquires information concerning the performance of the Contractor on this or other contracts which indicates that the Contractor is not responsible, the County may, in addition to other remedies provided in the Contract, debar the Contractor from bidding or proposing on, or being awarded, and/or performing work on County contracts for a specified period of time, which generally will not exceed five years but may exceed five years or be permanent if warranted by the circumstances, and terminate any or all existing Contracts the Contractor may have with the County.

  • Application of Chapter This chapter shall not apply to any employees in a representation unit created pursuant to Chapter 2.79 to the extent to which this chapter is inconsistent with the terms of an agreement or a memorandum of understanding covering such employees.

  • CFR PART 200 Domestic Preferences for Procurements As appropriate and to the extent consistent with law, the non-Federal entity should, to the greatest extent practicable under a Federal award, provide a preference for the purchase, acquisition, or use of goods, products, or materials produced in the United States (including but not limited to iron, aluminum, steel, cement, and other manufactured products). The requirements of this section must be included in all subawards including all contracts and purchase orders for work or products under this award.
