  • If You Withdraw Before Approval If you or any co-applicant withdraws an Application or notifies us that you’ve changed your mind about the unit, we’ll be entitled to retain all application deposits as liquidated damage, and the parties then have no further obligation to each other.

  • Discussions Before Termination (a) Where an employer has made a definite decision that the employer no longer wishes the job the employee has been doing done by anyone and this is not due to the ordinary and customary turnover of labour and that decision may lead to termination of employment, the employer shall hold discussions with the employees directly affected and with his/her union, where applicable.

  • Examination of work before covering up In respect of the work which the Authority’s Engineer is entitled to examine, inspect, measure and/or test before it is covered up or put out of view or any part of the work is placed thereon, the Contractor shall give notice to the Authority’s Engineer whenever any such work is ready and before it is covered up. The Authority’s Engineer shall then either carry out the examination, inspection or testing without unreasonable delay, or promptly give notice to the Contractor that the Authority’s Engineer does not require to do so. Provided, however, that if any work is of a continuous nature where it is not possible or prudent to keep it uncovered or incomplete, the Contractor shall notify the schedule of carrying out such work to give sufficient opportunity, not being less than 3 (three) business days’ notice, to the Authority’s Engineer to conduct its inspection, measurement or test while the work is continuing. Provided further that in the event the Contractor receives no response from the Authority’s Engineer within a period of 3 (three) business days from the date on which the Contractor’s notice hereunder is delivered to the Authority’s Engineer, the Contractor shall be entitled to assume that the Authority’s Engineer would not undertake the said inspection.

  • Annual Physical The Executive may, if the Executive so elects, within the twelve (12) months following the Date of Termination, receive an annual physical at the Company’s expense consistent with the physical provided under, and subject to the requirements of, the Company’s annual physical program as in effect immediately prior to the Date of Termination.

  • Employment Eligibility Verification As required by IC § 22-5-1.7, the Contractor swears or affirms under the penalties of perjury that the Contractor does not knowingly employ an unauthorized alien. The Contractor further agrees that:

  • Superintendent Level If no settlement has been reached in Step 2 within the specified time limit, the employee and/or his/her designated Council representative may advance the grievance to Step 3 by submitting a copy of the written statement of grievance in appropriate form to the office of the superintendent within ten (10) calendar days of receipt of the written disposition of grievance given by the Step 2 administrator. After such submission, the superintendent or designee shall have ten (10) calendar days to attempt to resolve the grievance.   • Cultural Competency 1. All program staff shall receive at least one (1) in-service training per year on some aspect of providing culturally and linguistically appropriate services. At least once per year and upon request, Contractor shall provide County with a schedule of in-service training(s) and a list of participants at each such training.

  • Actions We May Take if You Engage in Any Restricted Activities If we believe that you’ve engaged in any of these activities, we may take a number of actions to protect PayPal, its customers and others at any time in our sole discretion. You acknowledge that, as a non-exhaustive guide: • PayPal’s risk of liability in respect of card-funded payments that you receive can last until the risk of a chargeback closing in favour of the payer/buyer (as determined by card scheme rules) has passed.
