Common use of Annuitant Health Care Coverage Clause in Contracts

Annuitant Health Care Coverage. A. For all professional employees who began employment prior to January 16, 2016, the Employer shall allow each professional employee who was eligible as an active professional employee under the PEBTF’s health benefits plan to elect coverage upon retirement in an approved plan under the Annuitant Health Care Program (AHCP). In addition, dependency coverage shall be allowed where the dependents of the annuitant qualify under such AHCP plan. There will be no annuitant health care benefits provided to employees who began employment on or after January 16, 2016.
