Common use of Access of Union Representatives Clause in Contracts

Access of Union Representatives. A duly authorized representative of the Union shall be permitted to meet with employees on duty in order to conduct legitimate Union business (excluding general union membership meetings), provided such activity does not interrupt or interfere with the work of any employee. All business and conversation between Union representatives and employees will be conducted in a private location so they will be neither observed nor overheard by patients, customers or the public. The Union representative must immediately notify the Manager or his/her designee of their presence upon their arrival for any visitation.
