(a) 11.11.1 An Academic administrators are persons who, Administrator is a person appointed to a position that primarily carries organizational and administrative responsibilities in addition direct support of the academic mission and that requires qualifications similar to holding probationary or tenured faculty appointments in departments or programmes, also hold an administrative office greater than what would be normally required for a designated termregular academic appointment at an entry level. It does not include appointments of academic administrators made for a fixed term and holding a base faculty appointment, such as a Xxxx, Chair, or Vice-President and does not include appointments where the main responsibilities are excluded pro tem from the bargaining unit because of their administrative officeteaching and/or research.
