Physician Visits This plan covers the services of a physician or other provider in charge of your medical care while you are inpatient in a general or specialty hospital.
Contractor’s Staff 1. The Contractor shall maintain adequate staff to meet the Contractor’s obligations under this Agreement.
B5 Contractor’s Staff B5.1 The Authority may, by written notice to the Contractor, refuse to admit onto, or withdraw permission to remain on, the Authority’s Premises:
Contractor Staff All employees of the Contractor, or of its subcontractors, who perform Project Based IT Consulting Services under the resulting Authorized User Agreement, shall possess the necessary qualifications, training, licenses, and permits as may be required within the jurisdiction where the services specified are to be provided or performed, and shall be legally entitled to work in such jurisdiction. All persons, corporations, or other legal entities that perform Services under the Contract on behalf of Contractor shall, in performing the Services, comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws concerning employment in the United States. The following requirements shall apply in addition to the requirements of Appendix B, section 42, Employees, Subcontractors and Agents, unless otherwise agreed to by the Authorized User: Staffing Changes
MEDICALLY FRAGILE STUDENTS 1. If a teacher will be providing instructional or other services to a medically fragile student, the teacher or another adult who will be present when the instruction or other services are being provided will be advised of the steps to be taken in the event an emergency arises relating to the student's medical condition.
Contract for Professional Services of Physicians Optometrists, and Registered Nurses In accordance with Senate Bill 799, Acts 2021, 87th Leg., R.S., if Texas Government Code, Section 2254.008(a)(2) is applicable to this Contract, Contractor affirms that it possesses the necessary occupational licenses and experience.
Physician Incentive Plans In the event Provider participates in a physician incentive plan (“PIP”) under the Agreement, Provider agrees that such PIPs must comply with 42 CFR 417.479, 42 CFR 438.3, 42 CFR 422.208, and 42 CFR 422.210, as may be amended from time to time. Neither United nor Provider may make a specific payment directly or indirectly under a PIP to a physician or physician group as an inducement to reduce or limit Medically Necessary services furnished to an individual Covered Person. PIPs must not contain provisions that provide incentives, monetary or otherwise, for the withholding of services that meet the definition of Medical Necessity.
Patients The Dentist shall accept Covered Persons as patients as reasonably permitted by the Dentist's patient load and appointment calendar. The Dentist will provide Covered Dental Services to Covered Persons on the same basis as to the Dentist's other patients (for example: scheduling, quality of service, and fee charges). The Dentist will be solely responsible to Covered Persons for dental advice and treatment; SDC will have no control over Dentist's practice or the dentist-patient relationship.
SKILLED TRADES The provisions of the General Agreement shall apply to employees in the Skilled Trades classifications except as altered by the provisions of this Article.
Cultural Competence A. The CONTRACTOR shall participate in the State's efforts to promote the delivery of services in a culturally competent manner to all beneficiaries, including those with limited English proficiency and diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds, disabilities, and regardless of gender, sexual orientation or gender identity. (42 C.F.R. § 438.206(c)(2).)
