PAGA means the Private Attorneys General Act (Labor Code §§ 2698. et seq.).
POPIA means the Protection of Personal Information Act, No 4 of 2013;
CASA means a court-appointed special advocate;
Tabarru’ means donation for the purpose of solidarity and cooperation among the Takaful Participants and to be used to help all Takaful Participants in times of misfortune. In the context of the Company, Tabarru’ will be allocated into the Participants’ Risk Fund.
Primer means a coating labeled and formulated for application to a substrate to provide a firm bond between the substrate and subsequent coats.
OJEU means the Official Journal of the European Union.
Panchayat means an institution (by whatever name called) of self-government constituted under article 243B, for the rural areas;
LA means the Local Authority in the area in which the Academy is situated;
WADA means the World Anti-Doping Agency.
KIID means key investor information document;
LODR means the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015
Becquerel (Bq) means the SI unit of activity. One becquerel is equal to 1 disintegration or transformation per second (dps or tps).
CAFA means the Class Action Fairness Act of 2005, 28 U.S.C. §§ 1711–1715.
Cadre means the strength of a service or a part of a service sanctioned as a separate unit.
Pistol means any firearm with a barrel less than sixteen inches in length, or is designed to be held and fired by the use of a single hand.
RIO means a document published by a service provider specifying terms and conditions on which the other service provider may seek interconnection with such service provider;
LHSIA means the Local Health System Integration Act, 2006, and the regulations made under it, as it and they may be amended from time to time;
MAS means milliampere second.
POPI means the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013, as amended from time to time, together with any regulations issued from time to time in terms thereof;
SAQA means the South African Qualifications Authority;
DIA means the department of inspections and appeals established in Iowa Code chapter 10A.
Lacquer means a clear or opaque wood coating, including clear lacquer sanding sealers, formulated with cellulosic or synthetic resins to dry by evaporation without chemical reaction and to provide a solid, protective film.
DEL means the Department of Early Learning of the State of Washington; any division, section, office, unit or other entity of DEL; or any of the officers or other officials lawfully representing DEL.
SETA means a sector education and training authority established in terms of section 9 (1);
LDA means a geographic area within the PJM Region that has limited transmission capability to import capacity to satisfy such area’s reliability requirement, as determined by the Office of the Interconnection in connection with preparation of the Regional Transmission Expansion Plan, and as specified in Reliability Assurance Agreement, Schedule 10.1.
