The Contractor agrees to comply with all federal, provincial, and local laws.The Contractor agrees to protect, indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Town of Wadena from all claims, demands, or liability arising out of or encountered in connection with this procedure, or the performance of work under it where such claims, demands or liability are caused by the Contractor, its employees or agents.
Local Authority Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (LAFOIP) − While the Local Authority Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (LAFOIP) allows a person’s right of access to records in Wadena’s custody or control, it also prohibits Wadena from disclosing personal information about an individual in certain circumstances, or business information, if disclosure could reasonably be expected to cause harm as outlined in the Act.
Wadena will make payment in accordance with Wadena’s Accounts Payable process, and in any event within 30 days of receipt by Wadena of satisfactory payment requests.
