VOC composite vapor pressure means the sum of the partial pressures of the compounds defined as VOC in this rule, as determined according to the procedures specified in paragraph (S) of rule 3745-21-10 of the Administrative Code.
VOC composite vapor pressure means the sum of the partial pressures of the compounds defined as VOCs and is determined by the following calculation: (10-1)whereWi = Weight of the ith VOC compound, grams Ww = Weight of water, gramsWe = Weight of nonwater, non-VOC compound, gramsMWi = Molecular weight of the ith VOC compound, g/g-mole MWw = Molecular weight of water, g/g-moleMWe = Molecular weight of exempt compound, g/g-mole PPc = VOC composite partial pressure at 20oC, mm HgVPi = Vapor pressure of the ith VOC compound at 20oC, mm Hg

Examples of VOC composite vapor pressure in a sentence

  • VOC composite vapor pressure shall be less than 10 mm Hg (0.4 in.

  • If complying with 10.3.5.1 of this regulation, the name, VOC composite vapor pressure, and method and supporting documentation used to determine the VOC composite vapor pressure of each stripper used at the facility.

  • The VOC composite vapor pressure specified in 10.3.1.1.1 and 10.3.5.1 of this regulation shall be determined either by using ASTM Method E 260-91, manufacturer’s supplied data, or standard engineering reference text values.

  • Except as exempted in 10.3.1.2 of this regulation, no person subject to 10.0 of this regulation shall cause or allow the use of any cleaning solvent in any hand-wipe cleaning operation that does not comply with one of the following limits: 10.3.1.1.1 VOC composite vapor pressure should be less than 45 millimeters (mm) mercury (Hg) (1.8 inches [in] Hg) at 20 degrees Celsius (°C) (68 degrees Fahrenheit [°F]).

  • The form of the cleaning solvent VOC limit of 0.21 lb/gal was replaced with a VOC composite vapor pressure of up to 1 mm Hg or less at 20 degrees Celsius.

  • The VOC content or VOC composite vapor pressure of all cleaning material used.

  • Industrial firms have already realized that, they need to create their products with good quality under safety environment and better working condition.

  • The VOC composite vapor pressure of a cleaning material is a weighted average of the vapor pressures of the VOC components of that cleaning material.

  • The vapor pressure of each VOCcomponent is weighted by the mole fraction of that VOC component in the whole cleaning material, including non-VOC components such as water or exempt compounds.iWater and exempt compounds thereby reduce the VOC composite vapor pressure of cleaning materials in which they are present.

Related to VOC composite vapor pressure

  • Reid vapor pressure means the vapor pressure of crude oil or other volatile petroleum products at 100 degrees Fahrenheit as determined by the latest edition of ASTM D6377 (RVPE): Standard Test Method for Determination of Vapor Pressure of Crude Oil.

  • True vapor pressure means the equilibrium partial pressure exerted by a petroleum liquid as determined in accordance with methods described in American Petroleum Institute (API) Bulletin 2517, Evaporation Loss from External Floating Roof Tanks, 1980. The API procedure may not be applicable to some high viscosity or high pour crudes. Available estimates of true vapor pressure may be used in special cases such as these.

  • Electrostatic spray means a method of applying a spray coating in which opposite electric charges are applied to the substrate and the coating. The coating is attracted to the substrate by the electrostatic potential between them.

  • Vapor product means any:

  • medium voltage means the set of nominal voltage levels that lie above low voltage and below high voltage in the range of 1 kV to 44 kV;

  • Vapor tight means equipment that allows no loss of vapors. Compliance with vapor-tight requirements can be determined by checking to ensure that the concentration at a potential leak source is not equal to or greater than 100 percent of the lower explosive limit (LEL) when measured with a combustible gas detector, calibrated with propane, at a distance of 1 inch (2.54 cm) from the source.
