Treatment in Progress definition

Treatment in Progress means any single dental procedure, as defined by the CDT Code, that has been started while the Enrollee was eligible to receive Benefits, and for which multiple appointments are necessary to complete the procedure whether or not the Enrollee continues to be eligible for Benefits under the DeltaCare USA plan. Examples include: teeth that have been prepared for crowns, root canals where a working length has been established, full or partial dentures for which an impression has been taken and orthodontics when bands have been placed and tooth movement has begun.
Treatment in Progress means that the placement of fixed appliances (band/bond/brackets) has occurred.

Examples of Treatment in Progress in a sentence

  • Coverage for Treatment in Progress: If an Insured was covered under the Prior Plan on the day before this Certificate replaced the Prior Plan, the Insured may be eligible for benefits for treatment already in progress on the effective date of this Certificate.

  • Examples include: teeth prepared for crowns, root canals in progress, full or partial dentures for which an impression has been taken and orthodontics unless qualified for the orthodontic Treatment in Progress provision.

  • Inlays, onlays, crowns or fixed bridges or dentures started, but not completed, prior to the Member’s eligibility to receive benefits under this Plan, except as described under Treatment in Progress - Restorative Treatment.

  • Root canal treatment started, but not completed, prior to the Member’s eligibility to receive benefits under this Plan, except as described under Treatment in Progress - Endodontic Treatment.

  • A Contract Dentist may provide services either personally, or through associated Dentists, or the other technicians or hygienists who may lawfully perform the services.If your assigned Contract Dentist facility terminates participation in the DeltaCare USA network, that Contract Dentist facility will complete all Treatment in Progress as described above.

  • However, we will continue to provide Benefits for completion of any Treatment in Progress (less any applicable Copayment).

  • Orthodontic treatment started prior to the Member’s eligibility to receive benefits under this Plan, except as described under Treatment in Progress - Orthodontic Treatment.

  • All Treatment in Progress must be completed before you change to another Contract Dentist.

  • Orthodontic treatment started prior to the Member’s eligibility to receive benefits under this Plan, except as described under Treatment in Progress - Orthodontic Treatment and Treatment in Progress - Takeover Benefit for Orthodontic Treatment.

  • It is important for non-profit housing and shelter providers to keep applications, resident files and other housing-related records on file for a long enough period to be able to respond to housing complaints and/or lawsuits (two years).

Related to Treatment in Progress

  • Work in Progress means a Deliverable that has been partially prepared, but has not been presented to the State for Approval.

  • Pretreatment means the reduction of the amount of pollutants, the elimination of pollutants, or the alteration of the nature of pollutant properties in wastewater prior to or in lieu of discharging or otherwise introducing such pollutants into a POTW.

  • Wastewater treatment unit means a device which:

  • stacked townhouse means a building, other than a townhouse or apartment building, containing at least 3 dwelling units, each dwelling unit being separated from the other vertically and/or horizontally, and each dwelling unit having an entrance to grade shared with no more than 3 other units;

  • Acid Rain Program means the sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides air pollution control program established pursuant to Title IV of the Act under 40 CFR Parts 72-78.

  • Tobacco-related devices means cigarette papers or pipes for smoking or other devices intentionally designed or intended to be used in a manner which enables the chewing, sniffing, smoking, or inhalation of vapors of tobacco or tobacco products. Tobacco-related devices include components of tobacco-related devices which may be marketed or sold separately.

  • Wastewater Treatment Works means an arrangement of devices and structures for treating wastewater, industrial wastes, and sludge. Sometimes used as synonymous with "waste treatment plant" or "wastewater treatment plant" or "pollution control plant".

  • Undervote means that the elector does not properly designate any choice for an office or ballot question, and the tabulator records no vote for the office or question.

  • Assisted outpatient treatment or "AOT" means the categories of outpatient services ordered by the court under section 468 or 469a. Assisted outpatient treatment may include a case management plan and case management services to provide care coordination under the supervision of a psychiatrist and developed in accordance with person-centered planning under section 712. Assisted outpatient treatment may also include 1 or more of the following categories of services: medication; periodic blood tests or urinalysis to determine compliance with prescribed medications; individual or group therapy; day or partial day programming activities; vocational, educational, or self-help training or activities; assertive community treatment team services; alcohol or substance use disorder treatment and counseling and periodic tests for the presence of alcohol or illegal drugs for an individual with a history of alcohol abuse or substance use disorder; supervision of living arrangements; and any other services within a local or unified services plan developed under this act that are prescribed to treat the individual's mental illness and to assist the individual in living and functioning in the community or to attempt to prevent a relapse or deterioration that may reasonably be predicted to result in suicide, the need for hospitalization, or serious violent behavior. The medical review and direction included in an assisted outpatient treatment plan shall be provided under the supervision of a psychiatrist.

  • Wastewater treatment tank means a tank that is designed to receive and treat an influent wastewater through physical, chemical, or biological methods.

The term includes both life-sustaining medications and artificial life support such as mechanical breathing machines, kidney dialysis treatment, and artificially administered nutrition and hydration. The term does not include the administration of pain management medication, the performance of a medical procedure necessary to provide comfort care, or any other medical care provided to alleviate a patient's pain.
