TQS definition

TQS means the Northwest Territories Teachers’ Qualification Service established under section 3.1 of the Education Staff Regulations.

  • Credits must be equivalent to standards in British Columbia’s public universities in the opinion of the TQS.

  • BCPSEA and the BCTF agree that the TQS shall be responsible for the evaluation of eligibility and criteria for Category 5+ pursuant to Article B.12.1 and Article B.12.2 and the assignment of employees to Category 5+.

  • Employees shall have until June 30, 2008 to submit to the employer the TQS Category 5+ Card for payment of a retroactive salary adjustment.

  • A3.02 Before appointment to the teaching staff of the Government of the Northwest Territories, the teacher submits proof of previous teaching experience to the Registrar of the TQS appointed under Section 49 of the Education Act.

  • Teachers of summer school shall be paid at the rate of 1/1000th of Category 6/ TQS 5+, Step 0, for each instructional hour.

  • It shall be the responsibility of each incoming teacher to provide certified evidence of category held by providing a copy of the TQS determination to the Director of Human Resources as soon as possible after appointment to the District, but in any event no later than six (6) months from the effective date of appointment.

  • Where these procedures are followed and upon receipt of the necessary TQS certificate, adjustment of salary will be made retroactive to the effective date of appointment.

  • Service Volume means a measure of Services for which a Performance Target is set.

  • Grade point average or "GPA" means the grade point average earned by an eligible student and reported by the high school or participating institution in which the student was enrolled based on a scale of 4.0 or its equivalent if the high school or participating institution that the student attends does not use the 4.0 grade scale;

  • Meet-Point Billing (MPB) means the billing associated with interconnection of facilities between two (2) or more LECs for the routing of traffic to and from an IXC with which one of the LECs does not have a direct connection.   • Model 4 seller means a seller that is registered under the agreement and is not a model 1 seller, model 2 seller, or model 3 seller.

  • BGS shall refer to the State of Maine Bureau of General Services.
