TQS definition

TQS means the Northwest Territories Teachers’ Qualification Service established under section 3.1 of the Education Staff Regulations.
TQS means the Teacher Qualification Service;

  • Upon obtaining the required education, the teacher must submit proof of qualifications in the form of a TQS evaluation.

  • Where a teacher is not able or not eligible to access the TQS, the Society, based on the evidence provided by the teacher, will determine the appropriate placement on the salary grid in accordance with the TQS criteria and requirements for each category.

  • Placement will be in accordance with the assigned category indicated on the TQS card except as otherwise provided in this agreement.

  • Except as specified elsewhere in this Agreement the salary category of all teachers will be as verified by the most recent evaluation of the Teachers' Qualification Service (T.Q.S.).

  • The courses in question shall be TQS acceptable course work and shall be approved by the superintendent.

  • Placement on the salary grid shall be determined in accordance with the category assigned by the Teacher Qualification Service (T.Q.S.), subject to Articles B.21.1.a, and B.21.1.b of this Agreement and in accordance with years of experience as determined by Article B.22 of this Agreement.

  • Service Volume means a measure of Services for which a Performance Target is set.

  • Grade point average or "GPA" means the grade point average earned by an eligible student and reported by the high school or participating institution in which the student was enrolled based on a scale of 4.0 or its equivalent if the high school or participating institution that the student attends does not use the 4.0 grade scale;

  • Meet-Point Billing (MPB means the billing associated with interconnection of facilities between two (2) or more LECs for the routing of traffic to and from an IXC with which one of the LECs does not have a direct connection. In a multi-bill environment, each Party bills the appropriate tariffed rate for its portion of a jointly provided Switched Exchange Access Service.

  • Monthly Volume means the product of the Committed Volume multiplied by the number of days in the relevant month.

  • Demarcation Point means the point where Qwest owned or controlled facilities cease, and CLEC, End User Customer, premises owner or landlord ownership or control of facilities begin. "Designed, Verified and Assigned Date" or "DVA" means the date on which implementation groups are to report that all documents and materials have been received and are complete.

  • Contract Quantity means the quantity of Delivered Energy expected to be delivered by Seller during each Contract Year as set forth in Section 3.1(e).

  • Uppermost aquifer means the geologic formation nearest the natural ground surface that is an aquifer, as well as lower aquifers that are hydraulically interconnected with this aquifer within the facility's property boundary.

  • BPSS means the recognised standard for HMG for staff vetting which comprises verification of (1) identity, (2) employment history, (3) nationality and immigration status (including the right to work), and Criminal Records Bureau check (including a five (5) year address history check).

  • IPPF means the indigenous peoples planning framework for the Investment Program, including any update thereto, agreed between the Borrower and ADB and incorporated by reference in the FFA;

  • Runoff volume means the volume of water that runs off the land development project from a prescribed storm event.

  • Model 1 seller means a seller registered under the agreement that has selected a certified service provider as the seller's agent to perform all of the seller's sales and use tax functions for agreement sales and use taxes other than the seller's obligation under Section 59-12-124 to remit a tax on the seller's own purchases.

  • RTGS means real time gross settlement in terms of the regulations and directions issued by the RBI or any regulatory or statutory body;

  • Model 2 seller means a seller registered under the agreement that:

  • HRS means the Hawaii Revised Statutes.

  • Meet Point A point, designated by the Parties, at which one Party’s responsibility for service begins and the other Party’s responsibility ends.
