Baseline concentration definition

Baseline concentration means that ambient concentration level that exists in the baseline area at the time of the applicable minor source baseline date. A baseline concentration is deter- mined for each pollutant for which a minor source baseline date is estab- lished and shall include:
Baseline concentration means that ambient concentration level that exists in the baseline area at the time of the applicable minor source baseline date.
Baseline concentration means the ambient concentration of an air contami- nant for which there is an air quality increment, which existed in an impact area on the major and minor source baseline dates. The baseline concentration includes the impact of actual emissions from any stationary source in existence on the baseline date and the impacts from the potential to emit of Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD) stationary sources which commenced construction but were not in operation by the baseline date. The baseline concentration excludes impacts of actual emission increases and decreases at any stationary source occurring after the baseline date and actual emissions from any PSD stationary source which commenced construction after January 6, 1975. There are two baseline concentrations for any given impact area, a baseline concentration as of the major source baseline date and a baseline concentration as of the minor source baseline date.

Examples of Baseline concentration in a sentence

  • Baseline concentration data for foods voluntarily fortified with folic acid were revised following the Final Assessment for Australia and New Zealand due to new data collected in 2006 becoming available to FSANZ.

  • Baseline concentration" means that ambient concentration level that exists in the baseline area at the time of the applicable minor source baseline date.

  • By removing from paragraph (p)(7) the cross reference to ‘‘(q)(5) or (6)’’ and adding in its place ‘‘(p)(5) or (6)’’.The revisions read as follows: § 51.166 Prevention of significant deterioration of air quality.* * * * *(b) * * *(13)(i) Baseline concentration means that ambient concentration level that exists in the baseline area at the time of the applicable minor source baseline date.

  • For example, small increases in ALT/AST above a subject’s Baseline concentration that are unaccompanied by symptoms may not warrant any medication interruption, whereas large increases from a subject’s Baseline, even if not to high absolute concentrations, might warrant withholding medication temporarily.

  • Baseline concentration means that ambient concentration level that exists in the baseline area at the time of the applicable minor source baseline date.

Baseline concentration means that ambient concentration level which exists in the baseline area at the time of the applicable minor source baseline date. A baseline concentration is determined for each pollutant for which a baseline date is established and shall include the actual emissions representative of sources in existence on the applicable minor source baseline date. The following will not be included in the baseline concentration but will affect increment consumption:
Baseline concentration means the concentration of a substance in groundwater or surface water as determined by moni- toring before mining operations.
