Slice definition

Slice means ten percent (10%) of Standard Service Load. Within each Slice, each of the four classes in the Standard Service Customer Group is represented in the same 10%.
Slice means one of 4-6 sub-features or products in an email. The Slice is typically displayed “below the fold” e.g. not visible until/unless Member scrolls down in the email, or some equivalent action depending on the format of the email.
Slice. For practical purposes it makes sense to group resources at RMs as so-called slices. It is set of slivers spanning a set of network components, plus an associated set of users that are allowed to access those slivers for the purpose of running an experiment on the substrate.

Examples of Slice in a sentence

  • This provision does not apply to the calculation of the Slice Termination Payment, if any.

  • If the District does not elect to obtain or does not receive any bids or indicative quotations pursuant to the procedures set forth in clause (b) above, or if Purchaser is the Calculation Agent pursuant to subsection (a) above, the Slice Termination Payment shall be determined by the District or the Purchaser, using commercially reasonable procedures in order to produce a commercially reasonable result utilizing the base methodology outlined in Appendix A to the Collateral Annex.

  • A Slice Termination Payment as referenced in this Contract shall be calculated in accordance with the protocol set forth in this section.

  • Except for the amount of the net termination payment, the determination of the net amounts due under this Contract, other Slice Contracts and WSPP Transactions shall not be offset by, or take into account or include any Performance Assurance that may then be posted and in effect pursuant to the Collateral Annex between the Parties.

  • It is expressly agreed that the District shall not be required to enter into a Replacement Slice Contract or any replacement transactions in order to determine the value of Purchaser’s Output for the purposes of calculating the Slice Termination Payment under this section.

  • The Purchaser’s residual reserves equals the Purchaser’s maximum generation limit minus the Purchaser’s aggregated schedules minus the Purchaser’s Canadian Entitlement obligation and any additional reserve obligations required by standards, District Business Practices, and District Slice Operating Instructions.

  • The Purchaser, as calculation agent, shall use the Alternative Determination Methodology in Section 16(c) to calculate the Slice Termination Payment and calculate and include any gain or loss incurred for the period between the Event of Default and the calculation date in the net termination payment.

  • The determination of the Slice Termination Payment pursuant to the criteria set forth below shall be binding on the Parties and conclusive, absent manifest error.

  • The Slice Termination Payment calculated pursuant to clause (b) or (c) above shall be discounted to present value using the Present Value Rate as of the time of termination.

  • The scheduling limits shall be as described in the District Slice Operating Instructions and the District Business Practices, as may be amended by the District from time to time.

  • LSD means lysergic acid diethylamide.

  • Gasohol means a blended fuel composed of gasoline and fuel grade ethanol.

  • borehole means a hole sunk into the earth for the purpose of locating, abstracting or using subterranean water and includes a spring;

  • Bulkhead means an airtight structure separating the working chamber from free air or from another chamber under a lower pressure than the working pressure;

  • Cold Weather Alert means the notice that PJM provides to PJM Members, Transmission Owners, resource owners and operators, customers, and regulators to prepare personnel and facilities for expected extreme cold weather conditions.

  • HDPE means high density polyethylene;

  • Panchayat means an institution (by whatever name called) of self-government constituted under article 243B, for the rural areas;

  • Sailboat means the same as that term is defined in Section 73-18-2.

  • Loader means any type of off-road tractor with either tracks or rubber tires that uses a bucket on the end of movable arms to lift and move material; can be also referred to as a front-end loader, front loader, skid steer loader, backhoe, rubber- tired loader, or wheeled loader.

  • Hot Weather Alert means the notice provided by PJM to PJM Members, Transmission Owners, resource owners and operators, customers, and regulators to prepare personnel and facilities for extreme hot and/or humid weather conditions which may cause capacity requirements and/or unit unavailability to be substantially higher than forecast are expected to persist for an extended period. IDR Transfer Agreement:

  • Freeboard means a factor of safety usually expressed in feet above a flood level for purposes of floodplain management.
