Shanghai and/or Shenzhen Connect definition

Shanghai and/or Shenzhen Connect means Shanghai Connect and Shenzhen Connect. 「沪港通」:指香港交易所、上交所及中国结算建立香港与上海两地证券市场交易及结算互联互通机制。

  • Any such change in the operational hours and arrangements with respect to the Shanghai and/or Shenzhen Connect Service will affect GUOSEN SECURITIES (HK)'s ability to accept and process the Client's orders and generally to provide Shanghai and/or Shenzhen Connect Service in a timely manner.

  • Short selling may be suspended where the volume of short selling in respect of the relevant Shanghai and/or Shenzhen Connect Security exceeds the threshold(s) specified by the SEHK, and may be resumed if the SEHK so permits.

  • Exchange participants are warned by SEHK not to misuse this arrangement to effect off-exchange trades or transfers which are otherwise disallowed under the relevant Shanghai and/or Shenzhen Connect Rules.

  • GUOSEN SECURITIES (HK) will not be able to unwind any trade, and the Client should also take note of the settlement arrangements in respect of Shanghai and/or Shenzhen Connect Securities including but not limited to quota restrictions, which may affect the Client's ability to mitigate the consequences of any error trades.

  • HKSCC will also record all corporate actions relating to Shanghai and/or Shenzhen Connect Securities in CCASS and inform its clearing participants of the details via the CCASS terminals as soon as practicable on the announcement date.

  • If the Client is unfamiliar with the PRC market conduct requirements and restrictions, the Client should seek legal advice before engaging in trading through the Shanghai and/or Shenzhen Connect.

  • Note: The direction of orientation of the exhaust outlet must comply with national laws and directives.Always check regulatory conformity before making any modification to the exhaust line.

  • GUOSEN SECURITIES (HK) shall not be under any obligation to inform the Client of any such determination by SEHK as to the operational hours of the Shanghai and/or Shenzhen Connect Service.

  • Board lot and odd lot orders are matched on the same platform on Shanghai and/or Shenzhen Connect and subject to the same share price.

  • However, naked short selling of Shanghai and/or Shenzhen Connect Securities is prohibited.

Related to Shanghai and/or Shenzhen Connect

  • China means the People’s Republic of China, excluding, for purposes of this Agreement, Hong Kong, the Macau Special Administrative Region of the PRC and Taiwan.

  • Digital Cross Connect System or "DCS" is a function which provides automated Cross Connection of Digital Signal Level 0 (DS0) or higher transmission bit rate digital channels within physical interface facilities. Types of DCS include but are not limited to DCS 1/0s, DCS 3/1s, and DCS 3/3s, where the nomenclature 1/0 denotes interfaces typically at the DS1 rate or greater with Cross Connection typically at the DS0 rate. This same nomenclature, at the appropriate rate substitution, extends to the other types of DCS specifically cited as 3/1 and 3/3. Types of DCS that cross connect Synchronous Transport Signal level 1 (STS-1 s) or other Synchronous Optical Network (SONET) signals (e.g., STS-3) are also DCS, although not denoted by this same type of nomenclature. DCS may provide the functionality of more than one of the aforementioned DCS types (e.g., DCS 3/3/1 which combines functionality of DCS 3/3 and DCS 3/1). For such DCS, the requirements will be, at least, the aggregation of requirements on the "component" DCS. In locations where automated Cross Connection capability does not exist, DCS will be defined as the combination of the functionality provided by a Digital Signal Cross Connect (DSX) or Light Guide Cross Connect (LGX) patch panels and D4 channel banks or other DS0 and above multiplexing equipment used to provide the function of a manual Cross Connection. Interconnection is between a DSX or LGX to a Switch, another Cross Connection, or other service platform device.

  • WFOE has the meaning set forth in the Preamble.

  • Networking means NSCC’s system that allows mutual funds and life insurance companies to exchange account level information electronically; and “Settling Bank” shall mean the entity appointed by the Trust or you, as applicable, to perform such settlement services on behalf of the Trust and you, as applicable, which entity agrees to abide by NSCC’s then current rules and procedures insofar as they relate to same day funds settlement. In all cases, processing and settlement of share transactions shall be done in a manner consistent with applicable law.

  • Mainland China means the People’s Republic of China (excluding Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan).

  • Cross Connection means a jumper cable or similar connection provided pursuant to Collocation at the digital signal cross connect, Main Distribution Frame or other suitable frame or panel between (i) the Collocating Party’s equipment and (ii) the equipment or facilities of the housing party.

  • Wireless means a wireless handheld validation unit used with a supporting Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) as part of an approved gaming system. Amended 1/14/15

  • NSDL means the National Securities Depository Ltd.

  • Broadband or “Broadband Service” means any service defined as Broadband, or having advanced telecommunications capability, in the most recent Federal Communications Commission inquiry pursuant to Section 706 of the Telecommunications Act of 1996 (P.L. 104-104).2

  • Customer Care Centre means a department or a section or a facility established under sub-regulation (1) of regulation 25 by the distributor of television for addressing service requests, answering queries, recording of complaints, and redressal of grievances of consumers, by telephonic or electronic means or by any other means.

  • HKFE means the Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited.

  • Motorway means a road specially designed and built for motor traffic, which does not serve properties bordering on it, and which:

  • Asia means Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Mainland China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, New Zealand, North Korea, Pakistan, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Tajikistan, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam.

  • CJI means criminal justice information collected by criminal justice agencies needed for the performance of their authorized functions, including, without limitation, all information defined as criminal justice information by the U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Criminal Justice Information Services Security Policy, as amended and all Criminal Justice Records as defined under §24-72-302, C.R.S.

  • Integrated pest management means careful consideration of all available plant protection methods and subsequent integration of appropriate measures that discourage the development of populations of harmful organisms and keep the use of plant protection products and other forms of intervention to levels that are economically and ecologically justified and reduce or minimise risks to human health and the environment. ‘Integrated pest management’ emphasises the growth of a healthy crop with the least possible disruption to agro-ecosystems and encourages natural pest control mechanisms;

  • Marihuana means that term as defined in section 7106 of the public health code, 1978 PA 368, MCL 333.7106.

  • China Connect Service means the order-routing service through which Northbound orders placed by an Exchange Participant may be transmitted by an SEHK Subsidiary to the corresponding China Connect Market for the buying and selling of China Connect Securities and any related supporting services.

  • Networks the Local Area Network, network equipment, computer systems, and local cable infrastructure, at the Sites, to which the Service will be connected. “Installation Fee” – the combined charge for the survey, equipment and the Installation Service, including excess construction charges, as specified on the Service Agreement or other amended documentation following site survey.

  • CSSF means the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier;

  • rebroadcasting means the simultaneous broadcasting by one broadcasting organisation of the broadcast of another broadcasting organisation.

  • ChinaClear means China Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation Limited.

  • CHESS means the Clearing House Electronic Subregister System.

  • Network means the participating providers described in the Provider Directory.

  • SADC means the Southern African Development Community;

  • Telecommunications means the transmission, between or among points specified by the user, of information of the user's choosing, without change in the form or content of the information as sent and received.
