Indian governing body means the governing body of any tribe, band, or group of Indians subject to the jurisdiction of the United States and recognized by the United States as possessing power of self-government.
the Governors means the directors of the Academy Trust (and “Governor” means any one of those directors), subject to the definition of this term at Article 6.9(b) in relation to Articles 6.2-6.9;
Local governing body means the group of governors appointed and elected to carry out specified functions in relation to the Academy as delegated by the Academy Trust Company.
the Parent Governors means the Governors appointed pursuant to Articles 53 to 58 inclusive;
Staff Governor means an employee of the Academy Trust who may be appointed as a Governor pursuant to Article 50A;
Governors means the governors appointed or elected to the Governing Body of the School, from time to time.
Board of Governors means the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System of the United States of America.
Governing body means the board of county commissioners or a county council if a county; the legislative authority if a municipal corporation; or the board of township trustees if a township; the board of directors if a sanitary district; or the board of trustees if a regional water and sewer district.
Tribal government means an Indian tribal government as defined in Section 3(32) of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA), as amended, or an agency or instrumentality of the trib- al government, that has government offices principally located in this state.
State board means the state board of education.
