Sales Tax Grants definition

Sales Tax Grants means economic development grants each in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Sales Tax Receipts received by the City for the applicable Grant Period not to exceed the Maximum Annual Sales Tax Grant Amount, to be paid annually to the Company as set forth herein. The amount of each Sales Tax Grant shall be computed by multiplying the Sales Tax Receipts received by the City by the stated percentage for the given Grant Period less the administrative fee charged to the City by the State of Texas, not to exceed the Maximum Sales Tax Grant Amount.

Related to Sales Tax Grants

  • Sales Taxes means any sales, use, consumption, goods and services, value added or similar tax, duty or charge imposed pursuant to Applicable Law.

  • Goods and Services Tax (Compensation to States) Act means the Goods and Services Tax (Compensation to States) Act, 2017;

  • Sales Tax means all applicable provincial and federal sales, use, value-added or goods and services taxes, including GST/HST;

  • Sales Tax Revenues means taxes collected under the Virginia Retail Sales and Use Tax Act

  • Integrated Goods and Services Tax Act means the Integrated Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017;

  • Taxation means all forms of taxation, duties, rates, levies, contributions, withholdings, deductions, liabilities to account, charges and imposts whether imposed in the United Kingdom or elsewhere in the world;

  • U.S. Taxes means any present or future tax, assessment or other charge or levy imposed by or on behalf of the United States of America or any taxing authority thereof or therein.

  • Payroll Tax Executive Order means the Presidential Memorandum on Deferring Payroll Tax Obligations in Light of the Ongoing COVID-19 Disaster, as issued on August 8, 2020 and including any administrative or other guidance published with respect thereto by any Governmental Entity (including IRS Notice 2020-65).

  • Transaction Payroll Taxes means the employer portion of any payroll or employment Taxes incurred or accrued with respect to any bonuses, option exercises, payments to employee stock option holders or other compensatory payments made in connection with the transactions contemplated by this Agreement.

  • Taxes means all present or future taxes, levies, imposts, duties, deductions, withholdings (including backup withholding), assessments, fees or other charges imposed by any Governmental Authority, including any interest, additions to tax or penalties applicable thereto.
