Public Laws definition

Public Laws has the meaning given to it in Section 11.2.
Public Laws means the legal framework governing public procurement processes and public contracts, and any Authorization to be issued or obtained pursuant to Public Laws, which is required to (i) participate in public procurement processes, (ii) enter into a public Contract, (iii) enter into a subcontract that is directly related to a public Contract, and (iv) maintain the validity of a public Contract, and, without duplication, the legal framework respecting integrity, anti-corruption and more generally ethical conduct in public procurement and pubic contracts, and “Public Laws” includes any applicable Law which provides exceptions to the foregoing, including any applicable Laws (including any orders, Orders-in-Council or Consent of a Governmental Entity) adopted pursuant to the Public Health Act (Québec) or its implementing regulations or the Act respecting contracting with public bodies (Québec) and its implementing regulations. (bbbbb) “Purchase Price” has the meaning set out in Section 2.3. (ccccc) “Purchased Holdcos” has the meaning set out in the recitals hereof. (ddddd) “Purchased Shares” has the meaning set out in the recitals hereof. (eeeee) “Purchaser” has the meaning set out in the recitals hereof.
Public Laws means all applicable federal, state and local laws, codes, ordinances, rules, regulations, standards or orders of any public authority having jurisdiction over the Project, including building, health, labor, safety, licensing, environmental or zoning laws, codes, ordinances, rules, regulations, standards or orders of any such public authority.

Examples of Public Laws in a sentence

  • Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in Section 11.1 and Section 11.2, if any future change to the rules and regulations of the Baseball Authorities or the Public Laws restricts, infringes or limits any of the rights of LVCVA under this Agreement in any material way, then the Company and LVCVA shall negotiate in good faith to create substitute rights of substantially equivalent value for any such restricted or limited rights.

  • Such deductions shall be made in compliance with Chapter 310, Public Laws of 1967; N.J.S.A. (R.S.)52:14-15.9 (e) as amended.

  • Public land means land owned by the federal government, the state, or political subdivisions of the state and land acquired or developed for public recreation pursuant to section 321I.8.

  • Public library means a library that is lawfully established for free public purposes by 1 or more counties, cities, townships, villages, school districts, or other local governments or a combination thereof, or by a public or local act, the entire interests of which belong to the general public. Public library does not include a special library such as a professional, technical, or school library.

  • these Bye-Laws or “these presents” shall mean these Bye-Laws in their present form and all supplementary, amended or substituted Bye-Laws for the time being in force;

  • Applicable Laws and Regulations means all duly promulgated applicable federal, State and local laws, regulations, rules, ordinances, codes, decrees, judgments, directives, or judicial or administrative orders, permits and other duly authorized actions of any Governmental Authority having jurisdiction over the relevant parties, their respective facilities, and/or the respective services they provide.

  • Public Key means the key of a key pair used to verify a digital signature and listed in the Digital Signature Certificate;

  • Data Protection Laws and Regulations means all laws and regulations, including laws and regulations of the European Union, the European Economic Area and their member states, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, applicable to the Processing of Personal Data under the Agreement.

  • FDA Laws means all applicable statutes (including the FDCA), rules and regulations implemented administered or enforced by the FDA (and any foreign equivalent).

  • Public Lender has the meaning specified in Section 6.02.

  • PRC Laws means any and all laws, regulations, statutes, rules, decrees, notices, and supreme court’s judicial interpretations currently in force and publicly available in the PRC as of the date hereof.
