Pride of America Vessel means the United States documented passenger cruise vessel “PRIDE OF AMERICA”, official number 1146542, IMO number 9209221, and all appurtenances thereto whether on board or ashore;

  • United States of America means the United States of America.

  • Vessel means the vessel/craft belonging to the Contractor for carrying out the work.

  • Tanker in relation to chapter 4 means an oil tanker as defined in MARPOL Annex I, regulation 1 or a chemical tanker or an NLS tanker as defined in MARPOL Annex II, regulation 1.

  • U.S.-flag air carrier means an air carrier holding a certificate under 49 U.S.C. Chapter 411.

  • Foreign flag vessel means any vessel that is not a U.S.-flag vessel.

  • Finland means the Republic of Finland and, when used in a geographical sense, means the territory of the Republic of Finland, and any area adjacent to the territorial waters of the Republic of Finland within which, under the laws of Finland and in accordance with international law, the rights of Finland with respect to the exploration for and exploitation of the natural resources of the sea bed and its sub-soil and of the superjacent waters may be exercised;

  • Pressure vessel means containers for the containment of pressure, either internal or external. This pressure may be obtained from an external source or by the application of heat from a direct or indirect source, or any combination thereof.
