Examples of meeting of shareholders in a sentence
Pursuant to the Minutes of the General Meeting of Shareholders (“GMS”) on June 17th, 2024.
A resolution in writing signed by all the shareholders entitled to vote on that resolution at a Meeting of Shareholders is as valid as if it had been passed at a Meeting of Shareholders, unless a written statement with respect to the subject matter of the resolution is submitted by a Director, or representations in writing with respect to the subject matter of the resolution are submitted by the auditor, in each case in accordance with the Act.
Every shareholder entitled to vote at a Meeting of Shareholders may appoint a proxyholder, or one or more alternate proxyholders, as nominee of such shareholder to attend and act at the Meeting of Shareholders in the manner and to the extent authorized and with the authority conferred by the proxy.
If two or more persons hold shares jointly, any one of them present in person or duly represented at a Meeting of Shareholders may, in the absence of the other or others, vote the shares, but if two or more of those persons are present in person or represented and vote, they shall vote as one the shares jointly held by them.
If no record date is fixed, then such record date for the determination of the shareholders entitled to receive notice of the Meeting of Shareholders shall be at the close of business on the day immediately preceding the day on which the notice is given or, if no notice is given, the day on which the Meeting of Shareholders is held.
