Medical research laboratory definition

Medical research laboratory means a facility operated for the primary purpose of performing research, analytical or clinical research associated with the provision of health care services. Laboratories engaged in producing or manufacturing for commercial sales or distribution are not considered to be research laboratories.
Medical research laboratory means an establishment providing medical or dental laboratory services or photographic, analytical or testing services for medical or medical research purposes. This term does not include a research and development facility that primarily serves an educational or industrial establishment.
