Manufacturing Industry definition

Manufacturing Industry means any industry, business, or establishment operated for the purpose of preparing, produc- ing, making, altering, repairing, finishing, processing, inspecting, handling, assembling, wrapping, bottling, or packaging goods, articles, or commodities, in whole or in part; EXCEPT when such activities are covered by Orders in the: Canning, Preserving, and Freezing Industry; Industries Handling Products After Harvest; Industries Preparing Agricultural Products for Market, on the Farm; or Motion Picture Industry.
Manufacturing Industry means and includes industries in the category of manufacturing industry as defined under Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Act, 2006.

  • Good Manufacturing Practices means current good manufacturing practices, as set forth in 21 C.F.R. Parts 210 and 211.

  • Manufacturing Agreement means (i) any contract or agreement entered into on or prior to the Effective Date by any Credit Party or any of its Subsidiaries with third parties for (x) the clinical or commercial manufacture or supply in the Territory of Product for any indication, (y) the clinical or commercial manufacture or supply of the active ingredient incorporated in Product that was included in a NDA or a BLA for such Product (with the Manufacturing Agreements in effect as of the Effective Date being set forth in Schedule 12.1 of the Disclosure Letter), or (z) the use of Product in the Territory, and (ii) any future contract or agreement entered into after the Effective Date by any Credit Party or any of its Subsidiaries with third parties for (x) the clinical or commercial manufacture or supply in the Territory of Product for any indication, (y) the clinical or commercial manufacture or supply of the active ingredient incorporated in Product, or (z) for the use of Product in the Territory.

  • API means American Petroleum Institute.

  • GMP means the amount proposed by Contractor and accepted by Owner as the maximum cost to Owner for construction of the Project in accordance with this Agreement. The GMP includes Contractor’s Construction Phase Fee, the General Conditions Cost, the Cost of the Work, and Contractor’s Contingency amount.

  • Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient or “API” shall mean one or more of the following active pharmaceutical ingredients: tenofovir alafenamide (“TAF”), tenofovir disoproxil fumarate (“TDF”), elvitegravir (“EVG”), and cobicistat (“COBI”).

  • Pharmaceutical Product shall have the meaning ascribed to such term in Section 3.1(hh).
