long settlement transactions means transactions where a counter party undertakes to deliver a security, a commodity, or a foreign exchange amount against cash, other financial instruments, or commodities, or vice versa, at a settlement or delivery date that is contractually specified as more than the lower of the market standard for this particular transaction and five business days after the date on which the credit institution enters into the transaction.
long settlement transactions means transactions where a counterparty undertakes to deliver a security, a commodity, or a foreign exchange amount against cash, other financial instruments, or commodities, or vice versa, at a settlement or delivery date specified by contract that is later than the market standard for this particular type of transaction or five business days after the date on which the institution enters into the transaction, whichever is earlier;
long settlement transactions means transactions with a settlement or delivery time-lag exceeding the lowest of market practices for the instrument concerned and 5 working days. These transactions should be treated as forwards until the settlement date.

  • Payment Transaction means an act, initiated by the payer or on his behalf or by the payee, of placing, transferring or withdrawing funds, irrespective of any underlying obligations between the payer and the payee;

  • Rate Management Transaction means any transaction (including an agreement with respect thereto) now existing or hereafter entered into between the Borrower and any Lender or Affiliate thereof which is a rate swap, basis swap, forward rate transaction, commodity swap, commodity option, equity or equity index swap, equity or equity index option, bond option, interest rate option, foreign exchange transaction, cap transaction, floor transaction, collar transaction, forward transaction, currency swap transaction, cross-currency rate swap transaction, currency option or any other similar transaction (including any option with respect to any of these transactions) or any combination thereof, whether linked to one or more interest rates, foreign currencies, commodity prices, equity prices or other financial measures.

  • Termination Transaction has the meaning set forth in Section 11.2.B hereof.

  • Hedge Transaction means each interest rate swap, index rate swap or interest rate cap transaction or comparable derivative arrangement between the Borrower and a Hedge Counterparty that is entered into pursuant to Section 10.6 and is governed by a Hedging Agreement.

  • Structured settlement agreement means the agreement, judgment, stipulation, or release embodying the terms of a structured settlement.

  • Restructuring Transactions means the transactions described in Article IV.B of the Plan.
