  • Documents of Title Has the meaning given that term in the UCC.

  • Bill of lading means a document of title evidencing the receipt of goods for shipment issued by a person engaged in the business of directly or indirectly transporting or forwarding goods. The term does not include a warehouse receipt.

  • Bill means bill of exchange;

  • Document of title means a record that in the regular course of business or financing is treated as adequately evidencing that the person in possession or control of the record is entitled to receive, control, hold, and dispose of the record and the goods the record covers and that purports to be issued by or addressed to a bailee and to cover goods in the bailee's possession which are either identified or are fungible portions of an identified mass. The term includes a bill of lading, transport document, dock warrant, dock receipt, warehouse receipt, and order for delivery of goods. "Electronic document of title" means a document of title evidenced by a record consisting of information stored in an electronic medium. "Tangible document of title" means a document of title evidenced by a record consisting of information that is inscribed on a tangible medium.

  • Consignee means the person to whom the goods are required to be delivered as specified in the Contract. If the goods are required to be delivered to a person as an interim consignee for the purpose of dispatch to another person as provided in the Contract then that "another" person is the consignee, also known as ultimate consignee.

  • Certificate of title means, with respect to any Financed Vehicle, the certificate of title or other documentary evidence of ownership of such Financed Vehicle as issued by the department, agency or official of the jurisdiction (whether in paper or electronic form) in which such Financed Vehicle is titled responsible for accepting applications for, and maintaining records regarding, certificates of title and liens thereon.

  • Freight means the remuneration payable to the carrier for the carriage of goods under a contract of carriage.

  • Packing means the activities required to wrap and protect an article, properly place the article in appropriate carton or box, and stow the article and its carton or box in a lift van of sufficient size and constructed in accordance with post specifications; includes obtaining customs clearances and required documentation for shipment, via surface or air as appropriate.

  • Freight Forwarder means that term as defined in 49 USC 13102.

  • Merchandise means any personal property offered or sold for use in connection with the funeral, final disposition, memorialization, or interment of human remains, but which is exclusive of interment rights.

  • Goods means all of the equipment, machinery, and/or other materials that the supplier is required to supply to the purchaser under the contract.

  • Cargo means any property carried on an aircraft other than mail, stores and accompanied or mishandled baggage;

  • Storage means any keeping or retention of tangible personal property for use, consumption or

  • Warehouse means a person engaged in the business of storing goods for hire.

  • Shipment means a volume of products offered to and accepted by Carrier for transportation.

  • Dock means a fixed or floating structure extending from land out over water, including access walkways, terminal platforms, catwalks, mooring pilings, lifts, davits, and other associated water-dependent structures, used for mooring and accessing vessels.

  • Invoices means Consumption Invoices, Reconciliation Invoices or invoices in respect of any other Charges due to us from you pursuant to this Supply Contract;

  • Receivables Records means (i) all original copies of all documents, instruments or other writings or electronic records or other Records evidencing the Receivables, (ii) all books, correspondence, credit or other files, Records, ledger sheets or cards, invoices, and other papers relating to Receivables, including, without limitation, all tapes, cards, computer tapes, computer discs, computer runs, record keeping systems and other papers and documents relating to the Receivables, whether in the possession or under the control of Grantor or any computer bureau or agent from time to time acting for Grantor or otherwise, (iii) all evidences of the filing of financing statements and the registration of other instruments in connection therewith, and amendments, supplements or other modifications thereto, notices to other creditors or secured parties, and certificates, acknowledgments, or other writings, including, without limitation, lien search reports, from filing or other registration officers, (iv) all credit information, reports and memoranda relating thereto and (v) all other written or nonwritten forms of information related in any way to the foregoing or any Receivable.

  • Warehouseman means a person who is licensed:

  • Warehouser means any person, other than a wholesale distributor, engaged in the business of

  • Receipts means the American Depositary Receipts issued under this Deposit Agreement evidencing certificated American Depositary Shares, as the same may be amended from time to time in accordance with the provisions of this Deposit Agreement.

  • Keys means keys, codes or devices in the Seller’s possession or control for all locks or security systems on the Property or necessary to access the Property;

  • Transport means the most efficient and available method of conveyance. In all cases, where practical, economy fare will be utilized. If possible, the Insured’s Common Carrier tickets will be used.
