Investment Club definition

Investment Club means a group of individuals who combine their funds for the purpose of making investments and advancing their investment education.
Investment Club means a membership organization where investors make joint decisions on which securities to buy or sell. The securities are generally held in the name of the investment club.
Investment Club means a group of friends, neighbors, business associates, or others that pool their money to invest in stock or other securities and are collectively responsible for making investment decisions.

  • Covered Persons must obtain prior written approval from the Ethics Office before participating in an Investment Club.

  • At the time of the initial disclosure period, each Access Person must also submit information pertaining to: • His/her participation in any Outside Activity as described in Section 5.1 of the Code; • His/her participation in an Investment Club as described in Section 5.2 of the Code; • Holdings in Private Placements including hedge funds; and • A Related Person that is an officer and/or director of a publicly traded company; if any.

  • The brokerage account(s) of the Investment Club are subject to the pre-clearance and reporting requirements of the Code.

  • Employee participation in Investment Clubs is permitted but all Investment Club transactions are subject to the restrictions and reporting requirements in this Code.
