Initial Study definition

Initial Study means a study of a Completed Application conducted by the Transmission Provider (in coordination with the affected Transmission Owner(s)) in accordance with Section 19 or Section 32 of the Tariff.
Initial Study means a preliminary analysis prepared by or for the Tribe, which shall include: (a) A description of the Project including its location; (b) An identification of the environmental setting; (c) An identification of the Project’s potential Significant Effects on the Off-Reservation Environment by use of the checklist at Appendix B, provided that entries on the checklist are briefly explained to indicate that there is some evidence to support the entries. The brief explanation may be either through a narrative or a reference to another information source such as an attached map, photographs, or an earlier environmental analysis; (d) A discussion of the ways to mitigate the Project’s Significant Effects on the Off-Reservation Environment if any are identified; and (e) The name of the person or persons who prepared or participated in the Initial Study.
Initial Study means a preliminary analysis prepared by the Lead Agency to determine whether an EIR, Negative Declaration, or Mitigated Negative Declaration must be prepared or to identify the significant impacts to be analyzed in an EIR.

Examples of Initial Study in a sentence

  • For the avoidance of doubt, subject to the foregoing, OPKO shall have the sole decision-making authority with respect to such Collaboration Product from and after completion of the relevant Initial Study.

  • At any time following completion of an Initial Study but prior to ninety (90) days before ▇▇▇▇’s first patient dosed in a subsequent Clinical Trial with respect to a Collaboration Product, Entera may upon written notice to OPKO (an “Opt-Out Notice”) elect to no longer participate in the sharing of costs with respect to further Development, Commercialization, and Manufacture of such Collaboration Product (such election, an “Opt-Out”).

More Definitions of Initial Study

Initial Study means a Phase 2 Clinical Trial of RX-3117 for the treatment of the Initial Study Indications to be conducted by or on behalf of Biosense and its Affiliates in China, as further described in the Development Plan.
