The spread of hours under this Part 4 may be altered by up to one hour at either end of the spread, by agreement between the Company and the majority of the Employees concerned at the workplace, or, in appropriate circumstances, between the Company and individual Employee.
Nothing in this Agreement shall prevent the Company from paying to an individual Employee hereunder a higher rate of compensation than the rate established in this Agreement.

An agreement under this clause can only be entered into after the individual Employee has commenced employment with the Employer.
Agreement in this respect may also be reached between the Employer and an individual Employee.
