Impairment of Use definition

Impairment of Use means an adverse impact on a beneficial use of ground water due to water quality degradation (as indicated by the narrative and numerical standards of Chapter 4) such that any previously existing beneficial use cannot be fully attained.
Impairment of Use. Lessee is denied use or possession of any item of Equipment to a material extent, as a direct and primary result of an Impairment Event, provided, that such event is certified to Lessor in writing by Lessee's responsible officer, and verified to Lessor's satisfaction by Lessor's independent investigation or such other evidence relating thereto as Lessor may reasonably request.

  • Physical impairment means a loss of physical functioning which interferes with a person’s ability to perform the Activities of Daily Living. A person with a physical impairment would require hands-on Human Assistance in order to perform the Activities of Daily Living.

  • Other health impairment means having limited strength, vitality, or alertness, including a heightened alertness to environmental stimuli, that results in limited alertness with respect to the educational environment, that:

  • Serious emotional disturbance means a diagnosable mental, behavioral, or emotional disorder affecting a minor that exists or has existed during the past year for a period of time sufficient to meet diagnostic criteria specified in the most recent Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders published by the American Psychiatric Association and approved by the department and that has resulted in functional impairment that substantially interferes with or limits the minor's role or functioning in family, school, or community activities.
