Housing and Residence Life definition

Housing and Residence Life means all residence facilities owned, leased or controlled by Wichita State University (current examples of University Housing include, but are not limited to, Shocker Hall and Fairmount Towers).

  • The Executive Director of Housing and Residence Life or designee has sole and absolute discretion to determine if release of Student’s records is necessary to protect the health or safety of the Student or other individuals and to determine the recipients of released information.

  • This Agreement is between the University of Central Florida (UCF) on behalf of its Board of Trustees, for the benefit of the University of Central Florida Department of Housing and Residence Life (UCF DHRL), and any person seeking residence accommodations in any of the various UCF DHRL residences (the Student).

  • The determination by the Director of the Office of Housing and Residence Life will be final with regards to all such matters.

Related to Housing and Residence Life

  • Housing means residential housing including dwellings and other forms of residential accommodation;

  • Community location means a public or private elementary or secondary school, a church, a public library, a public playground, or a public park.

  • Residential housing or "Residence" means a single-family, owner-occupied dwelling located within the State that qualifies for financing by the Authority within the meaning of the Act, the Rules and Regulations, the Code and related regulations.

  • Insurance Company The Transferee is an insurance company whose primary and predominant business activity is the writing of insurance or the reinsuring of risks underwritten by insurance companies and which is subject to supervision by the insurance commissioner or a similar official or agency of a state, U.S. territory or the District of Columbia.

  • Apartment shall have the meaning ascribed to it in Recital H;

  • Elderly Housing means housing intended for and only occupied by Elderly persons, including a family in which all members are Elderly. All household members must be Elderly (no children, and no disabled persons under the age of 62).

  • Centers means the international agricultural and natural resources research centers that are members of the Consortium; and each a “Center”.

  • Community association means an association in which membership is a condition of ownership or shareholder interest of a unit in a condominium, cooperative, townhouse, villa, or other residential unit that is part of a residential development plan as a master association or common interest community and that is authorized to impose an assessment and other costs that may become a lien on the unit or lot.

  • Supportive housing means housing with no limit on length of stay, that is occupied by the target population, and that is linked to an onsite or offsite service that assists the supportive housing resident in retaining the housing, improving his or her health status, and maximizing his or her ability to live and, when possible, work in the community.

  • Multifamily housing means housing accommodations designed as a residence for more than 1 family.

  • Residential means that the Premises where the Service is installed are used wholly:

  • Youth center means any public or private facility that is primarily used to host recreational or social activities for minors, including, but not limited to, private youth membership organizations or clubs, social service teenage club facilities, video arcades, or similar amusement park facilities.

  • Family day care home means a unit registered under Title 5, Subtitle 5 of the Family Law Article.

  • Life insurance means insurance coverage on human lives including benefits of endowment and annuities, and may include benefits in the event of death or dismemberment by accident and benefits for disability income and unless otherwise specifically excluded, includes individually issued annuities.

  • life insurance business means the business of providing or undertaking to provide policy benefits under life policies;

  • Community services means any type of counseling and advice, emergency assistance, medical care,

  • Farmers market" means a public and recurring assembly of farmers or their representatives selling directly to consumers food and products that the farmers have produced themselves. In addition, the market may include a variety of other vendors as determined by market management.

  • Affordable Housing Units – means the Affordable Housing to be provided as part of the development in accordance with the application and/or any subsequent reserved matters approval.

  • Insurance Companies means the companies with whom the Insurance Policies are held.

  • Healthcare shall have the meaning set forth in the introductory paragraph hereof.

  • Community rehabilitation program means a program that provides directly or facilitates the provision of one or more of the following vocational rehabilitation services to individuals with disabilities to enable those individuals to maximize their opportunities for employment, including career advancement:

  • Family means (a) an individual, (b) such individual’s spouse, (c) any other natural person who is related to such individual or such individual’s spouse within the second degree of kinship and (d) any other natural person who has been adopted by such individual.

  • Youth Football means those participating at ages under 11s to under 18s.

  • Assisted living residence means a facility licensed by the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services to provide apartment-style housing and congregate dining and to assure that assisted living services are available when needed for four or more adult persons unrelated to the proprietor and that offers units containing, at a minimum, one unfurnished room, a private bathroom, a kitchenette and a lockable door on the unit entrance.
