HLOS2FPA definition

HLOS2FPA means the aggregate of all HLOS Phase 2 Franchise Payment Adjustments to be made on that Reporting Period's Payment Date (provided that any payment due under paragraph 33.5, 35.1, 35.2(a)(iii) or 35.2(b) of Appendix 13 (South Central Specific Provisions) shall be paid on the date which it is due under such paragraph and shall not be delayed until the next Payment Date). It is acknowledged that the HLOS Phase 2 Franchise Payment Adjustments potentially include both amounts payable to the Secretary of State by the Franchisee and amounts payable to the Franchisee by the Secretary of State. Accordingly there shall be a calculation to determine the net aggregate payment which may be a payment to the Secretary of State (and shall be input into the formula as a negative number) or to the Franchisee (and shall be input into the formula as a positive number.)”;

  • Pistol means any firearm with a barrel less than sixteen inches in length, or is designed to be held and fired by the use of a single hand.

  • Crawling bug insecticide means any insecticide product that is designed for use against ants, cockroaches, or other household crawling arthropods, including, but not limited to, mites, silverfish or spiders. “Crawling Bug Insecticide” does not include products designed to be used exclusively on humans or animals, or any house dust mite product. For the purposes of this definition only, moth-proofing product means a product whose label, packaging, or accompanying literature indicates that the product is designed to protect fabrics from damage by moths, but does not indicate that the product is suitable for use against flying insects or other flying arthropods.

  • MARPOL 73/78 means the International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships, 1973, as amended by the Protocol of 1978 relating thereto and by any other amendment in force thereafter;

  • SAQA means the South African Qualifications Authority;

  • Nodal Ministry means the Ministry or Department identified pursuant to this order in respect of a particular item of goods or services or works.

  • Sewage Treatment Plant means any arrangement of devices and structures used for treating sewage.

  • O.C.G.A. means the Official Code of Georgia Annotated.

  • Biological safety cabinet means a containment unit suitable for the preparation of low to moderate risk agents where there is a need for protection of the product, personnel, and environment, according to National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) Standard 49.

  • Snow tyre means a tyre whose tread pattern, tread compound or structure is primarily designed to achieve in snow conditions a performance better than that of a normal tyre with regard to its ability to initiate or maintain vehicle motion."

  • National Ambient Air Quality Standards or “NAAQS” means national ambient air quality standards that are promulgated pursuant to Section 109 of the Act, 42 U.S.C. § 7409.

  • Pretreatment coating means a coating which contains no more than 12% solids by weight, and at least 0.5% acid by weight, is used to provide surface etching, and is applied directly to metal surfaces to provide corrosion resistance, adhesion, and ease of stripping.

  • O. Reg. 419/05 means the Ontario Regulation 419/05, Air Pollution – Local Air Quality.

  • COVID-19 means SARS-CoV-2 or COVID-19, and any evolutions or mutations thereof or related or associated epidemics, pandemic or disease outbreaks.

  • Soft drinks means nonalcoholic beverages that contain natural or artificial sweeteners. "Soft drinks" does not include beverages that contain milk or milk products, soy, rice, or similar milk substitutes, or that contains greater than fifty per cent vegetable or fruit juice by volume.

  • Cold Weather Alert means the notice that PJM provides to PJM Members, Transmission Owners, resource owners and operators, customers, and regulators to prepare personnel and facilities for expected extreme cold weather conditions.

  • COGSA means the Carriage of Goods by Sea Act of the United States of America approved on 16th April 1936.

  • Public Finance Management Act ’ means the Public Finance Management Act, 1999 (Act No. 1 of 1999);

  • SOFR means a rate equal to the secured overnight financing rate as administered by the SOFR Administrator.

  • asylum seeker means a person who is not under 18 and has made a claim for asylum which has been recorded by the Secretary of State but which has not been determined;

  • FOIPPA means the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act and Regulations (British Columbia);

  • Municipal solid waste landfill or “MSW landfill” means an entire disposal facility in a contiguous geographical space where household waste is placed in or on land. An MSW landfill may also receive other types of RCRA Subtitle D wastes such as commercial solid waste, nonhazardous sludge, and industrial solid waste. Portions of an MSW landfill may be separated by access roads. An MSW landfill may be publicly or privately owned. An MSW landfill may be a new MSW landfill, an existing MSW landfill or a lateral expansion.

  • Panchayat means an institution (by whatever name called) of self-government constituted under article 243B, for the rural areas;

  • Mistletoe Thinning means the removal of designated conifer trees bearing visible mistletoe plants on branches as well as visible plants or infections on the stem.
