General education course definition

General education course means a unit of learning non-technical in nature, which is an integral part of a program the content of which is drawn from oral communication, written communication, social studies, mathematics, natural sciences and the humanities.

  • General education means the compulsory school attendance phase as referred to in section 3 of the South African Schools Act, 1996 (Act No. 84 of 1996); and
