Environmental official definition

Environmental official means a public official with executive responsibility for coordinating an environmental response in the jurisdiction in which a natural disaster or catastrophe has occurred.

Student Data shall constitute Education Records for the purposes of this Agreement, and for the purposes of Utah and federal laws and regulations. Student Data as specified in Exhibit “B” is confirmed to be collected or processed by the Contractor pursuant to the Services. Student Data shall not constitute that information that has been anonymized or de-identified, or anonymous usage data regarding a student’s use of Contractor’s services.

  • Environmental Claim means any investigation, notice, notice of violation, claim, action, suit, proceeding, demand, abatement order or other order or directive (conditional or otherwise), by any governmental authority or any other Person, arising (i) pursuant to or in connection with any actual or alleged violation of any Environmental Law, (ii) in connection with any Hazardous Materials or any actual or alleged Hazardous Materials Activity, or (iii) in connection with any actual or alleged damage, injury, threat or harm to health, safety, natural resources or the environment.

  • Applicable public official means a person elected to an office or a person appointed to complete a term of an elected office, who has the authority to award or influence the award of the contract for which the prospective contractor is submitting a competitive sealed proposal or who has the authority to negotiate a sole source or small purchase contract that may be awarded without submission of a sealed competitive proposal.

  • Threatened species means any species which is likely to become an endangered species within the foreseeable future throughout all or a significant portion of its range.

A reasonable expectation of death or serious injury before abatement exists if a rational person, subjected to the same conditions or practices giving rise to the peril, would not expose the person's self to the danger during the time necessary for abatement.

  • Environmental Affiliate means any agent or employee of any Borrower or any other Relevant Party or any person having a contractual relationship with any Borrower or any other Relevant Party in connection with any Relevant Ship or its operation or the carriage of cargo and/or passengers thereon and/or the provision of goods and/or services on or from any Relevant Ship;
