Education expenses means tuition and fees required for the enrollment or attendance of a student at an eligible educational institution, and expenses for fees, books, supplies, and equipment required for courses of instruction at an eligible educational institution.

  • Each Active Blend Enrollment Year Portfolio has a risk level that becomes increasingly conservative over time as the Beneficiary approaches expected enrollment in an Eligible Educational Institution and/or expected year in which funds will be withdrawn to pay for Qualified Higher Education Expenses.

  • Even if the value of all Accounts for a Beneficiary reaches the Maximum Account Balance, those funds may not be sufficient to pay all Qualified Higher Education Expenses of the Beneficiary.
