  • Deputy Commissioner means the Deputy Commissioner of the district;

  • National Commissioner means the National Commissioner of the South African Police Service, appointed by the President under section 207(1) of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, 1996;

  • Insurance Commissioner means the Insurance Commissioner

  • Information Commissioner means the UK Information Commissioner and any successor;

  • Chief Commissioner means the chief administrative officer of the County, or delegate;

  • Labour Commissioner means the individual appointed as Labour Commissioner in terms of in section 120;

  • Deputy Minister - means the Deputy of a Minister or the Head of a ministry as defined in this agreement;

  • Tax Commissioner means the tax commissioner appointed under section 121.03 of the Revised Code.

  • the Commissioner means the Commissioner for Consumer Protection exercising powers under the Act;

  • Commissioner General means the Commissioner-General appointed under the Zambia Revenue Authority Act;

  • County Superintendent means the Executive County Superintendent of Schools designated by the Department of Education for this school district.

  • District superintendent means the superintendent of a district or the chief administrator of a public school academy.

  • Integrity Commissioner means the Integrity Commissioner appointed by Council pursuant to Section 223.3 of the Municipal Act, 2001;

  • Michigan economic development corporation means the public body corporate created under section 28 of article VII of the state constitution of 1963 and the urban cooperation act of 1967, 1967 (Ex Sess) PA 7, MCL 124.501 to 124.512, by a contractual interlocal agreement effective April 5, 1999, as amended, between local participating economic development corporations formed under the economic development corporations act, 1974 PA 338, MCL 125.1601 to 125.1636, and the Michigan strategic fund. If the Michigan economic development corporation is unable for any reason to perform its duties under this act, those duties may be exercised by the Michigan strategic fund.

  • Commonwealth Minister means the local Minister within the meaning of the gas pipelines access legislation of the Commonwealth;

  • Board of County Commissioners means the Board of County Commissioners, Orange County, Florida, or their duly authorized representative(s).

  • Board of Commissioners means a county board of commissioners.

  • Secretary-General means the Secretary-General of the Organization.

  • the Companies Acts means every statute (including any orders, regulations or other subordinate legislation made under it) from time to time in force concerning companies in so far as it applies to the company;

  • Commonwealth Citizen means any person who has the status of a Commonwealth citizen under the British Nationality Act 1981, not covered by the ‘UK Nationality’ definition above. This includes British Dependent Territories citizens (other than Gibraltarians), British Overseas citizens, and from 1986 those persons in the category British National (Overseas).

  • Board of Appeals means the local board of appeals as created by local ordinance.

  • Commissioners Court means Travis County Commissioners Court.

  • District board means the board of directors of the district.

  • Companies Acts means the Companies Acts (as defined in section 2 of the Companies Act 2006), in so far as they apply to the company;

  • Next Michigan development corporation means that term as defined in section 3 of the next Michigan development act, 2010 PA 275, MCL 125.2953.
