Departmental Data definition

Departmental Data means any data, text, drawings, diagrams, images or sounds (together with any database made up of any of these) which are embodied in any electronic, magnetic, optical, paper or any other media, and which:

Examples of Departmental Data in a sentence

  • Access by Contractor staff to Departmental Data shall be confined to those individuals who have a “need-to-know” and whose access is essential for the purpose of their duties.

  • Paper documents containing Departmental Data shall be transmitted, both within and outside company premises in such a way as to make sure that no unauthorised person has access.

  • Records of vacation usage for fiscal faculty and unclassified exempt staff are to be recorded, and reported monthly through employee self-service leave reporting.

  • Departmental Data being handled in the course of providing this service must be segregated from other data on the Contractor’s own IT equipment to protect the Departmental Data and enable it to be securely deleted when required.

  • The policy is enforced by the Information Quality Group within the Controllerʼs Department and through a network of Departmental Data Stewards.• The Corporation has a New Products/Initiatives Assessment Group, with representation from key business and support functions, to ensure that processes and controls are in place to manage the risks in new products and initiatives before they are executed.

  • In the event that it is not possible to segregate the Departmental Data then the Contractor is required to ensure that it is stored in such a way that it is possible to securely delete the data in line with Clause 13.

  • All Contractor employees who handle Departmental Data must have annual awareness training in protecting information.

  • The Contractor will have in place and maintain physical (e.g. door access) and logical (e.g. identification and authentication) access controls to ensure only authorised access to Departmental Data.

  • All employees with direct or indirect access to Departmental Data must be subject to pre-employment checks equivalent to or higher than the Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS): Details of the standard are available at the HMG website https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/security-policy-framework.

  • The Contractor will adopt the UK Government Security Classification Policy in respect of any Departmental Data being handled in the course of providing this service, and will handle this data in accordance with its security classification and Impact Level.

Related to Departmental Data

  • Personnel data means government data on individuals maintained because the individual is or was an employee or applicant for employment. For purposes of this policy, “employee” includes a volunteer or an independent contractor.

  • Data means recorded information, regardless of form, the media on which it is recorded, or the method of recording.

  • Educational data means data maintained by the school district which relates to a student.

  • Historical data means data collected more than five years before the department’s date of listing or other determination under section 455B.194, subsection 1.

  • Operational Data means personal data provided or made available by one party to the other which is operationally required for the performance of the Contract (business contact information such as names, email addresses, telephone numbers and fax numbers) relating to the Party’s employees or representatives;

  • Pseudonymous data means personal data that cannot be attributed to a specific natural person

  • Sadomasochistic abuse means actual or explicitly simulated flagellation or torture by or upon a person who is nude or clad in undergarments, a mask or bizarre costume, or the condition of being fettered, bound or otherwise physically restrained on the part of one so clothed.

  • Shared Personal Data means the personal data to be shared between the parties under clause 1.2 of this agreement to enable the parties to fulfil their obligations under the terms of this Agreement.

  • Business Critical means any function identified in any Statement of Work as Business Critical.

  • Accounting Information means (a) the annual audited consolidated financial statements of the Group and (b) the quarterly unaudited consolidated financial statements of the Group, each as provided or (as the context may require) to be provided to the Bank in accordance with clause 5.1.4;

  • Staffing Information in relation to all persons identified on the Supplier's Provisional Supplier Personnel List or Supplier's Final Supplier Personnel List, as the case may be, such information as the Department may reasonably request (subject to all applicable provisions of the DPA), but including in an anonymised format: (a) their ages, dates of commencement of employment or engagement, gender and place of work; (b) details of whether they are employed, self employed contractors or consultants, agency workers or otherwise; (c) the identity of the employer or relevant contracting Party; (d) their relevant contractual notice periods and any other terms relating to termination of employment, including redundancy procedures, and redundancy payments; (e) their wages, salaries, bonuses and profit sharing arrangements as applicable; (f) details of other employment-related benefits, including (without limitation) medical insurance, life assurance, pension or other retirement benefit schemes, share option schemes and company car schedules applicable to them; (g) any outstanding or potential contractual, statutory or other liabilities in respect of such individuals (including in respect of personal injury claims); (h) details of any such individuals on long term sickness absence, parental leave, maternity leave or other authorised long term absence; (i) copies of all relevant documents and materials relating to such information, including copies of relevant Agreements of employment (or relevant standard Agreements if applied generally in respect of such employees); and (j) any other “employee liability information” as such term is defined in regulation 11 of the Employment Regulations;

  • Anonymous Data means Personal Data that has been processed in such a manner that it can no longer be attributed to an identified or identifiable natural person.

  • Personnel file means, for the purposes of Part III (8VAC20-90-60 et seq.), any and all memoranda, entries or other documents included in the teacher's file as maintained in the central school administration office or in any file regarding the teacher maintained within a school in which the teacher serves.

  • GLO Data means any data or information owned by the GLO, including PII or SPI as defined below, that Provider creates, obtains, accesses (via records, systems, or otherwise), receives (from the GLO or on behalf of the GLO), or uses in the performance of the Contract or any documents related thereto.

  • Health data means data related to the state of physical or mental health of the data principal and includes records regarding the past, present or future state of the health of such data principal, data collected in the course of registration for, or provision of health services, data associating the data principal to the provision of specific health services.

  • Summary data means statistical records and reports derived from data on individuals but in which individuals are not identified and from which neither their identities nor any other characteristic that could uniquely identify the individual is ascertainable.

  • Client Personal Data means any personal data provided to us by you, or on your behalf, for the purpose of providing our services to you, pursuant to our engagement letter with you;

  • Benchmarking Information means information generated by Portfolio Manager, as herein defined including descriptive information about the physical building and its operational characteristics.

  • Information Resources means any and all computer printouts, online display devices, mass storage media, and all computer-related activities involving any device capable of receiving email, browsing Web sites, or otherwise capable of receiving, storing, managing, or transmitting Data including, but not limited to, mainframes, servers, Network Infrastructure, personal computers, notebook computers, hand-held computers, personal digital assistant (PDA), pagers, distributed processing systems, network attached and computer controlled medical and laboratory equipment (i.e. embedded technology), telecommunication resources, network environments, telephones, fax machines, printers and service bureaus. Additionally, it is the procedures, equipment, facilities, software, and Data that are designed, built, operated, and maintained to create, collect, record, process, store, retrieve, display, and transmit information.

  • Student Personal Information means information collected through a school service that personally identifies an individual student or other information collected and maintained about an individual student that is linked to information that identifies an individual student, as identified by Washington Compact Provision 28A.604.010. For purposes of this DPA, Student Personal Information is referred to as Student Data.

  • Indigenous Peoples Safeguards means the principles and requirements set forth in Chapter V, Appendix 3, and Appendix 4 (as applicable) of the SPS;

  • Information Commissioner means the UK Information Commissioner and any successor;

  • Information Technology Resources means agency budgetary resources, personnel, equipment, facilities, or services that are primarily used in the management, operation, acquisition, disposition, and transformation, or other activity related to the lifecycle of information technology; acquisitions or interagency agreements that include information technology and the services or equipment provided by such acquisitions or interagency agreements; but does not include grants to third parties which establish or support information technology not operated directly by the Federal Government.   • Data Safeguards means the highest industry-standard safeguards (including administrative, physical, technical, and procedural safeguards) against the destruction, loss, misuse, unauthorized disclosure, or alteration of the JBE Data or Confidential Information, and such other related safeguards that are set forth in Applicable Laws, a Statement of Work, or pursuant to JBE policies or procedures.

  • Special Personal Information means Personal Information as referred to in Section 26 of POPIA

  • Tomographic plane means that geometric plane which is identified as corresponding to the output tomogram.
