Cubic Foot definition

Cubic Foot means a volume of Gas occupying a space of one cubic foot at a temperature of 60°F and at the applicable Base Pressure.
Cubic Foot as used herein means the volume of gas contained in one (1) cubic foot of space at a standard pressure of 14.65 pounds per square inch absolute and a standard temperature of sixty (60) degrees Fahrenheit.
Cubic Foot of gas means the volume of gas contained in one cubic foot of space at a standard pressure base of 14.73 psia and a standard temperature base of 60 degrees Fahrenheit.

Examples of Cubic Foot in a sentence

  • The number of Btus produced by the complete combustion in air, at a constant pressure, of one Cubic Foot of Gas when the products of combustion are cooled to the initial temperature of the Gas and air and all water formed by combustion is condensed to the liquid state.

  • The Committed Gas shall not have a Gross Heating Value of less than 950 Btu per Cubic Foot of gas under the conditions of measurement contained herein.

Cubic Foot and "Standard Cubic Foot" shall mean that quantity of natural gas that occupies one cubic foot of volume at the Volumetric Measurement Base defined in Section 26.2 of the General Terms and Conditions.

Cubic Foot means the volume of Gas that occupies one cubic foot at a temperature of 60 degrees Fahrenheit, a pressure of 14.73 psig, and dry. Mcf means one thousand (1,000) cubic feet and MMcf means one million (1,000,000) cubic feet.
Cubic Foot means, as the context requires:
Cubic Foot means the volume of gas which occupies one Cubic Foot of space, measured according to Boyle's and Charles' Law for the measurement of gas under varying pressures with deviation therefrom as provided in Section 14 of these GT&C and on the measurement basis likewise specified in Section 14.
Cubic Foot means the volume of Natural Gas which occupies one (1) cubic foot of space, measured according to Boyle's and Charles' Laws for the measurement of Natural Gas under varying pressures with deviation therefrom as provided in Section 5 hereof and on the measurement basis likewise specified in Section 5 hereof.
