Cubic Foot of gas means the volume of gas contained in one cubic foot of space at a standard pressure base of 14.73 psia and a standard temperature base of 60 degrees Fahrenheit.
Square feet or “sf” shall mean “square feet of floor area” and refer to floor area as defined in Division 9 (Definitions), unless otherwise specified.
Cubic foot of gas means the amount of gas required to fill a cubic foot of space when the gas is at an absolute pressure of fourteen and seventy-three hundredths (14.73) pounds per square inch at a temperature of sixty (60) degrees Fahrenheit.
Rentable Square Feet as used in the Lease will be deemed to include: (a) with respect to the Premises, the usable area of the Premises determined in accordance with the Method for Measuring Floor Area in Office Buildings, ANSI Z65.1-1996 (the "BOMA Standard"), plus a pro rata portion of the main lobby area on the ground floor and all elevator machine rooms, electrical and telephone equipment rooms and mail delivery facilities and other areas used by all tenants of the Building, if any, plus (i) for single tenancy floors, all the area covered by the elevator lobbies, corridors, special stairways, restrooms, mechanical rooms, electrical rooms and telephone closets on such floors, or (ii) for multiple tenancy floors, a pro-rata portion of all of the area covered by the elevator lobbies, corridors, special stairways, restrooms, mechanical rooms, electrical rooms and telephone closets on such floor; and (b) with respect to the Building, the total rentable area for all floors in the Building computed in accordance with the provisions of Subparagraph 1(a) above. In calculating the "Rentable Square Feet" of the Premises or the Building, the area contained within the exterior walls of the Building stairs, fire towers, vertical ducts, elevator shafts, flues, vents, stacks and major pipe shafts will be excluded.
Gross weight means the aggregate weight of a vehicle or combination of vehicles and the load
Gallon means a United States gallon of two hundred thirty-one cubic inches of liquid at 60º Fahrenheit, and at the equivalent vapor pressure of the liquid.
Built-up area and/or “Covered Area” in relation to a Flat shall mean the floor area of that Flat including the area of balconies and terraces, if any attached thereto, and also the thickness of the walls (external or internal) and the columns and pillars therein Provided That if any wall, column or pillar be common between two Flats, then one-half of the area under such wall column or pillar shall be included in the built-up area of each such Flat.
Cubic Metre means the volume of gas which occupies one cubic metre when such gas is at a temperature of 15 degrees Celsius, and at a pressure of 101.325 kilopascals absolute;
MMcf means one million cubic feet under prescribed conditions of pressure and temperature and represents the basic unit for measuring the production of natural gas.
Acre-foot means the amount of water necessary to cover one acre of land one foot deep, or about 325,000 gallons of water.
Ton means a ton of two thousand two hundred and forty (2,240) lbs. net dry weight;
Engine degreaser means a cleaning product designed to remove grease, grime, oil and other contaminants from the external surfaces of engines and other mechanical parts.
Cathode ray tube or "CRT" means a vacuum tube, composed primarily of glass, which is the visual or video display component of an electronic device. A used, intact CRT means a CRT whose vacuum has not been released. A used, broken CRT means glass removed from its housing or casing whose vacuum has been released.
Sewage sludge fee weight means the weight of sewage sludge, in dry U.S. tons, excluding admixtures such as liming materials or bulking agents. Annual sewage sludge fees, as per section 3745.11(Y) of the Ohio Revised Code, are based on the reported sludge fee weight for the most recent calendar year.
unladen weight means the weight of a vehicle or trailer including all equipment ordinarily used with the vehicle or trailer when working, but excluding the weight of a driver or attendant; and where alternative parts or bodies are used the unladen weight of the vehicle means the weight of the vehicle with the heaviest such alternative part or body;
Barrel means a volume of forty-two (42) United States Gallons at sixty degrees (60°) Fahrenheit and zero (“0”) gauge pressure if the vapor pressure of the petroleum is at or below atmospheric pressure, or at equilibrium vapor pressure if the vapor pressure of the petroleum is greater than atmospheric pressure.
Uppermost aquifer means the geologic formation nearest the natural ground surface that is an aquifer, as well as lower aquifers that are hydraulically interconnected with this aquifer within the facility's property boundary.
Gross Leasable Area means the total leasable square footage of buildings situated on Real Properties, excluding the square footage of any department stores.
total floor area means, the sum total of the total areas of all floors in a building or structure whether at above or below grade measured between the exterior faces of the exterior walls of the building or structure or from the centre line of a common wall separating two uses or from the outside edge of a floor where the outside edge of the floor does not meet an exterior or common wall, and;
Gross Floor Area means the total floor area, measured between the outside of exterior walls or between the outside of exterior walls and the centre line of party walls dividing the building from another building, of all floors above the average level of finished ground adjoining the building at its exterior walls;
Vapor tight means equipment that allows no loss of vapors. Compliance with vapor-tight requirements can be determined by checking to ensure that the concentration at a potential leak source is not equal to or greater than 100 percent of the lower explosive limit (LEL) when measured with a combustible gas detector, calibrated with propane, at a distance of 1 inch (2.54 cm) from the source.
British thermal unit or "Btu" shall mean the International BTU, which is also called the Btu (IT).
Psia means pounds per square inch absolute.
tons or “MT” means metric ton(s) as defined in the “International System of
Contract feeder means a person who as an independent contractor, feeds commercial feed to animals pursuant to a contract whereby such commercial feed is supplied, furnished or otherwise provided to such person and whereby such person’s remuneration is determined all or in part by feed consumption, mortality, profits or amount or quality of product.
Diameter means the greatest dimension measured at right angles to a line from the stem to the blossom end of the cherry.
