Convalescent definition

Convalescent or "chronic care" means any or all procedures commonly employed in caring for the sick includ- ing, but not limited to, administering medicines, preparing special diets, providing bedside nursing care, applying dress- ings and bandages, and carrying out any treatment prescribed by a duly licensed practitioner of the healing arts.

  • Hospital/Nursing Home : means any institution established for in- patient care and day care treatment of sickness and / or injuries and which has been registered as a Hospital with the local authorities, wherever applicable, and is under the supervision of a registered and qualified Medical Practitioner OR must comply with all minimum criteria as under:

  • Centers means the international agricultural and natural resources research centers that are members of the Consortium; and each a “Center”.
