Average Return on Equity definition

Average Return on Equity means annualized Cumulative After-tax Adjusted Operating Income during the Award Period divided by the Average Total Shareowner’s Equity and excluding the cumulative after-tax adjustments that are excluded from Cumulative After-tax Adjusted Operating Income during the Award Period.
Average Return on Equity means the percentage equal to the product of four (4) times the result of (i) the sum of the Return on Equity for each quarter in the applicable Performance Period, divided by (ii) the number of quarters in the applicable Performance Period.

More Definitions of Average Return on Equity

Average Return on Equity means the sum of the Return on Equity with respect to each year in the Performance Period, divided by three.
