Approved backflow prevention device definition

Approved backflow prevention device means a backflow prevention device that meets the requirements contained in standard 1001, American Society of Sanitary Engineers or the Uniform Plumbing Code adopted by the Uniform Plumbing Code adopted by the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO).
Approved backflow prevention device means devices which have passed laboratory and field evaluation tests performed by a recognized testing organization which has demonstrated its competency to perform such tests to the California Department of Health Services.
Approved backflow prevention device means any device or method intended to prevent backflow into a waterworks which has been approved by the Inspection Services Division for compliance with the County Code.
