Appointing insurer" means the insurer appointing the vendor as its agent under a specialty producer license.[Statutory Authority: RCW 48.02.060, 48.120.025.
Existing insurer means the insurance company whose policy or contract is or will be changed or affected in a manner described within the definition of “replacement.”
R&W Insurer means AIG Specialty Insurance Company.
Association Representative A member of the Association, who has been designated as a representative by the Association or a staff person of the Association.
Member insurer means any person who:
Corporate Representative means an Individual authorised by resolution of the directors or other governing body of a body corporate to represent it;
Appointed Representative has the meaning set forth in Section 10.1.
Insurer means a person who insures or guarantees for the benefit of the mortgagee all or any portion of the risk of loss upon borrower default on any of the mortgage loans originated, purchased or serviced by the Company or any of its Subsidiaries, including the Federal Housing Administration, the United States Department of Veterans’ Affairs, the Rural Housing Service of the U.S. Department of Agriculture and any private mortgage insurer, and providers of hazard, title or other insurance with respect to such mortgage loans or the related collateral.
Appointing authority means the head of an employing unit authorized by ordinance or City Charter to employ others on behalf of the City, or a designated management representative. The term includes and can be used interchangeably with department head, department director, superintendent, and chief.
CFD Administrator means an official of the City, or designee thereof, responsible for determining the Special Tax Requirement and providing for the levy and collection of the Special Taxes.
Certificate Insurer As defined in the Series Supplement.
appointor means in relation to an alternate Director, the Director who appointed the alternate to act as his alternate;
Mortgage Insurer means CMHC, Genworth Financial Insurance Company Canada, or any other company that insures the payment of mortgages to mortgage lenders.
Appointed Trustee means each person acting in a Corporate Trust Capacity under each applicable Corporate Trust Contract.
Self-insurer means any duly qualified individual employer or group self-insurance association authorized by the Commission to self fund its workers' compensation obligations.
Submitting Institution An organization who submitted a genomic dataset to an NIH-designated data repository (e.g., dbGaP).
Alien insurer means an insurer domiciled outside the United States.
Principal’s Representative means the person nominated by the Principal or other person from time to time appointed in writing by the Principal to act as the Principal’s Representative for the purposes of the Contract.
Foreign insurer means an insurer domiciled outside of this state, including an alien insurer.
Appointee means the person named by you and registered with us in accordance with the Nomination Schedule, who is authorized to receive the Death Benefit under this Policy on the death of the Life Assured while the Nominee is a minor;
Office of the Corporation means the executive office of the Corporation, anything in Section 131 of the General Corporation Law to the contrary notwithstanding.
Member Association means any national football association affiliated to FIFA, irrespective of whether its representative team is participating in the Competition.
Operating Advisor means the operating advisor appointed as provided in the Lead Securitization Servicing Agreement.
Agency Representative A person assigned by a primary, assisting, or cooperating federal, state, local, or tribal government agency or private entity that has been delegated authority to make decisions affecting that agency’s or organization’s participation in incident management activities following appropriate consultation with the leadership of that agency. Area: The lands in a described geographic area that are managed and/or protected by the Parties within this Agreement.
Contractor’s Representative means the individual authorised to act on behalf of the Contractor for the purposes of the Contract. The initial Contractor’s representative is as indicated in the Form of Agreement.
authorized LEA representative means a LEA administrator designated to be responsible for nonpublic school/agencies. It is understood, a representative of the Special Education Plan Local Area (SELPA) of which the LEA is a member is an authorized LEA representative in collaboration with the LEA. The LEA maintains sole responsibility for the contract, unless otherwise specified in the contract.
