The exclusive jurisdiction and venue for any and all actions arising out of or brought under the Agreement is in a state court of competent jurisdiction, situated in the county in the State of California in which the UC Location is located or, where the procurement covers more than one UC Location, the exclusive venue is Alameda County, California.
The Alameda County Superior Court shall have jurisdiction over any litigation initiated to enforce or interpret this AGREEMENT.
In the event that either party brings any action against the other under this Agreement, the Parties agree that trial of such action shall be vested exclusively in the state courts of California in the County of Alameda or in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.

A leave of absence without pay may not be granted to a person accepting either private or public employment outside the service of the County of Alameda, except as hereinafter provided.
If a death, serious personal injury, or substantial property damage occurs in connection with Contractor’s performance of this Agreement, Contractor shall immediately notify the Alameda County Risk Manager's Office by telephone.
Effective November 2, 1999 through June 30, 2000, when employees are required to do business and obtain lodging in the counties of Alameda, San Francisco, San Mateo and Santa ▇▇▇▇▇, and Central and Western Los Angeles reimbursement will be for actual receipted lodging to a maximum of $110 plus applicable taxes.
Examinations for jurisdictions other than the County of Alameda are exempted from this provision.
