Terms of the citation means those conditions and options expressly stated upon the citation.
clerk of the court means the person who for the time being is the clerk of every Magistrates Court at a place or places appointed under this Act for the holding of Magistrates Courts in question, and includes any assistant clerk of the court, deputy clerk of the court and any person who for the time being occupies or performs the duties of such office.
Regulations of the U.S. Department of Transportation means the regulations in 49 CFR Parts 100-189.
Judicial Council’s Master Account means the Judicial Council’s billing account to which the Contractor is authorized to charge specifically identified charges under this Agreement.
Municipal Law Enforcement Officer means a person appointed under the authority of the Police Services Act for the purpose of enforcing City by-laws.
Agency or instrumentality of the government of Venezuela means an agency or instrumentality of a foreign state as defined in section
Business of the Company means the following areas of its business which are selected below, which Employee acknowledges are areas of the Company’s business in which Employee has responsibilities: (check as applicable)
Professional limited liability company means a limited
of the Company means any person who is or was a director, officer, employee or other agent of the Company or a subsidiary of the Company; or is or was serving at the request of, for the convenience of, or to represent the interests of the Company or a subsidiary of the Company as a director, officer, employee or agent of another foreign or domestic corporation, partnership, joint venture, trust or other enterprise; or was a director, officer, employee or agent of a foreign or domestic corporation which was a predecessor corporation of the Company or a subsidiary of the Company, or was a director, officer, employee or agent of another enterprise at the request of, for the convenience of, or to represent the interests of such predecessor corporation.
Uniform Commercial Code jurisdiction means any jurisdiction that has adopted all or substantially all of Article 9 as contained in the 2000 Official Text of the Uniform Commercial Code, as recommended by the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws and the American Law Institute, together with any subsequent amendments or modifications to the Official Text.
deposits townsite means the townsite to be established on or near the mining areas pursuant to this Agreement;
Administration of criminal justice means performance of any activity directly involving the
Office of the Corporation means the executive office of the Corporation, anything in Section 131 of the General Corporation Law to the contrary notwithstanding.
Waters of the State means the ocean and its estuaries, all springs, streams, wetlands, and bodies of surface or groundwater, whether natural or artificial, within the boundaries of the State of New Jersey or subject to its jurisdiction.
Non-Cooperative Jurisdiction means any foreign country that has been designated as noncooperative with international anti-money laundering principles or procedures by an intergovernmental group or organization, such as the Financial Task Force on Money Laundering, of which the U.S. is a member and with which designation the U.S. representative to the group or organization continues to concur;
banking company means a banking company as defined in clause (c) of section 5 of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949 (10 of 1949);
Provincial Council means a council established for a non-metropolitan province in terms of section 269 of the Constitution;
Consent of the Limited Partners means the Consent of a Majority in Interest of the Limited Partners, which Consent shall be obtained prior to the taking of any action for which it is required by this Agreement and may be given or withheld by a Majority in Interest of the Limited Partners, unless otherwise expressly provided herein, in their sole and absolute discretion.
Reference Jurisdiction means, in respect of the Reference Currency, the country (or countries of the currency block) for which the Reference Currency is the lawful currency.
Sale of the Company means the sale of the Company to an Independent Third Party or affiliated group of Independent Third Parties pursuant to which such party or parties acquire (i) capital stock of the Company possessing the voting power to elect a majority of the Company's board of directors (whether by merger, consolidation or sale or transfer of the Company's capital stock) or (ii) all or substantially all of the Company's assets determined on a consolidated basis.
Condition of the Company means the assets, business, properties, operations or condition (financial or otherwise) of the Company and its Subsidiaries, taken as a whole.
Surface waters of the state means perennial and seasonal streams, lakes, ponds, and tidal waters within the jurisdiction of the state, including all streams, lakes, or ponds bordering on the state, marshes, water courses, and other bodies of water, natural or artificial.
non-UK country means a country that is not the United Kingdom;
the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund means the registered charity of that name (number 1173260) established on 30th May 2017;
REIT Provisions of the Code means Sections 856 through 860 of the Code and any successor or other provisions of the Code relating to real estate investment trusts (including provisions as to the attribution of ownership of beneficial interests therein) and the regulations promulgated thereunder.
Community corrections officer means an employee of the
