Municipal Law Enforcement Officer definition

Municipal Law Enforcement Officer means a person appointed under the authority of the Police Services Act for the purpose of enforcing City by-laws.
Municipal Law Enforcement Officer or “MLEO” means a Person appointed or employed by the City as a municipal law enforcement officer under the Police Services Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.15, as amended;
Municipal Law Enforcement Officer means a person appointed by Council under Section 15 of the Police Services Act to enforce the by-laws of the City, and includes any Licencing Enforcement Officer.

  • Where an owner fails to comply with a notice within the specified time frame (subject to amendment in accordance with Section 2.06 or withdrawal in accordance with section 2.07), a Municipal Law Enforcement Officer may, in addition to any enforcement of this By-Law, cause the City’s forces to complete the work required by the notice, without further notice to the owner.

  • REMOVAL OF ELECTION SIGNS 13.11Where Municipal Election Signs have been posted in contravention of this By-law, the Clerk or Municipal Law Enforcement Officer may notify the Owner, Candidate or their agent to remove the Sign and take the necessary action to ensure that the Sign complies with the provisions of this By-law within 24 hours of notice.

  • No person shall Construct, or cause to be constructed, a Sign that, in the opinion of the Municipal Law Enforcement Officer, constitutes an obstruction of view at street intersections, pedestrian pathways, driveways or other points of access or egress of vehicular or pedestrian traffic.

  • This By-law shall be enforced by the Municipal Law Enforcement Officer of the Municipality.

  • Where an owner is making reasonable effort to comply with a notice, but requires more time within which to complete the removal of the debris or standing water, the Manager of Municipal Law Enforcement, the Supervisor of Municipal Law Enforcement or a Municipal Law Enforcement Officer may, in their discretion, approve up to two (2) time period extensions pursuant to this section of the By-Law.
